Worst place is ever if your looking to get jumped and be in the hospital place should be shut down.
The dance floor is not half bad. The DJ was okay, but is more into mixing than playing a song for its duration. He had a good mix of music though, and I danced for three hours, so I walked home happy. ??
The bartender with a beard seemed like he didn’t care we were there and the only time he spoke was when he decided to give us his political opinion on a private discussion that had nothing to do with what he said. Place is more of a flea trap than a dive bar.
It's actually hilarious. Only reason you go here is because they're open. Service sucks and the customers and employees are even worse. No respect in this building for people other than regulars. If you're not in the 2 person inner circle stay out. This disgrace of a bar owner just bought a historic bar in the Lawrence/Methuen area, "Gateway Pub". If you ever think of going there just go to the Tavern on Merrimack. Gateway is dead. Tread lightly under bars owned by this group.

Watch yourself if you decide to hand them your card. Miranda took our card and made our drinks all night, then gave our debit card to some guy. Nothing like calling your bank at 2am to cancel everything. To top it off she didn’t handle or apologize for her mistake. Had someone else do her job for her. I feel really bad for the other bartender, she was really trying to help the situation. Way to ruin the weekend!
Pretty cool vibe and great live music . Had a male bartender who was pretty miserable but the second female one we dealt with was awesome . Came home to find out my friend and I were robbed . Someone dipped into my purse even though it was on me and thought it was okay to steal our belongings . We were in shock and angry as it just happened last night . Suffice to say we are not going back to that place ever.
