You know in the Christmas movies when the people go home for the holidays and there’s 1 thing they can’t live without that just makes home feel home? That’s Haverhill house of Pizza. I grew up in groveland and moved when I was 25. When I need to feel and taste home Haverhill House is where it’s at. Chris is the greatest! And the rest of the family is great too. The restaurant itself don’t let it fool you it adds to the character of how long they have been a family staple in town. I LOVE Haverhill House.
This place is absolutely terrible. Waited over an hour and a half for my food. The delivery guy didn't even call me to let me know my food was here and left it outside for it to get cold. So I called back to talk to the manager and all I got was disrespect and he hung up in my face. On top of that they over charged my card. And so I called back again and asked for a refund on the food they didn't even give me half of my money back. Lesson learned will never be ordering for this place again.
One large steak and cheese steak sub, one large tuna and two small french fries to go $34.75. The fries were good, the cheese stake sub was dry, where is the cheese? Next time I'll go to Market Basket and get their subs.
I love the food. I purchase gift certificates to give as gifts. What's not yummy? Every bite of any food just gives you Joy. Subs, pizza, meals, etc... My all time favorite has to be the chicken fingers by themselves or better yet in a sub with everything.
There was a chicken feather in my chicken wings. Why was this allowed.

I decided to give this place a try. Huge mistake - I should have walked out when I walked in. The place looks and is dirty. The girl at the counter was rude, never smiled or said thank you. The pizza was definitely the worse I ever had and the mushrooms were from a can. The whole thing went in the trash. I usually don’t mind paying a higher price if it’s decent. I paid the higher price and threw it in the trash. I thought of calling to complain but after reading some of the reviews decide it’s not worth my time.I don’t know how people like this “food” really??This is my first and last time going here. I highly do not recommend. Not even worth the one star but required to write this review.

Staff is awesome and actually talk to you and smile! We met the twins and a gentleman with glasses at the counter, they were awesome! FOOD WAS ** (kiss the chef) DELICIOUS :)
The person who answers the phone is very rude and has a bad temper to talk to customers. When I called, he took the order and hung up the phone without giving me time to give the address or ask how much the order was. very disrespectful, I will never order food there again in that place
