first timer, my fiancé took has been before and took me… roast beef dinner was delish! so goo to see places like this do exist still!

Interesting experience. Called on St. Patty's day to pre-order 3 corned beef dinners. Staff was rushed and almost rude over the phone once they finally answered, that took about 30 rings. Food was excellent and I'd definitely order from there again. The only bad thing I could say other than the guy who answer the phone, they forgot to put corned beef on one of our dinners. I would still recommend the food but we'll see how the next encounter goes.
Amazing food and great portions!! They've been there a long time now. A true downtown Haverhill classic. I visit everytime I go back home. I hope they never close those doors and hope to forever see the A1 sign stay in downtown. The owners and staff are really good people. Thanks for being a symbol of Haverhill guys!
Home cooked mega portions. So many menu choices, and the workers are comedic. A gem of a place in downtown Haverhill.

A delicious NY sirloin cooked to order with a mound of mashed potatoes and a fresh salad. Freshly brewed coffee and an amazing number of desserts to choose from. Nice family atmosphere

We’ve lived in Methuen for about 4 years now and I’m so bummed that I’ve gone all this time without knowing about this place!No frills, just damned good, full belly, happy fat smile on your face, tastes like Nana made it, food! ???
