I noticed this adorable cafe on my way up to Halibut State Park. I stopped in on my way home for a latte so I could warm up, but I couldn’t leave without a pastry too after I saw all the goodies in the case. The 7-layer bar was delicious, but honestly I don’t think I could have gone wrong with any of their pastries. They also had an amazing looking sandwich menu. Next time I’ll pick up a few things for a picnic.

Goodness gracious. I ordered a custom breakfast sandwich (egg & cheese & hash browns on croissant) and it was two shakes of hot sauce shy of utter perfection. But that's not why I'm here; the structural integrity of said sandwich was on par with Frank Lloyd Wright. I was driving down 128 eating a croissant sandwich with one hand. Didn't spill a single crumb. The egg, potato, and cheese we're all in the shape of the croissant. The highest compliments to the chef who made this sandwich, consider a career in architecture.
