We came in today for the first time. First of all Fabio was Fabulous. Very attentive to all the Guests. We had Clam Chowder And the Cod Sandwich. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend. We will be back.

Phenomenal experience all around. Great food, great service and atmosphere! I highly recommend the Seaport Grille in Gloucester.

Outstanding seafood platter and clam chowder. Excellent service. ?

?1. Friendly waitress, clean and fresh environment.2. Fried calamari, tender, crisply fried.3. New England style baked haddock & seafood: never tasted before, seems like tart or pie, full of flavor, well cooked.

I can't say enough about this place. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The service (very friendly staff), the food (so fresh), the ambiance (romantic and also family friendly)... everything was EXCELLENT! Everything that we ordered were cooked to perfection and the seafood was absolutely fresh! On top of that the portions were big too! One dish is good enough for two people. Wish we live closer but will definitely go back here whenever we are in the area again. So happy that my husband picked the perfect place for my birthday celebration! ❤️

Visiting the area and looking for a great New England Seafood meal we stopped in for a late lunch. It was busy at 300 pm on a Tuesday which to us was a good sign- must be the right place. The weather was nice so we asked to sit on the outside deck. We started out with special drinks ( not to our liking) so they remade them without question- very accommodating. My wife had a salad (huge) and I had fried clams (perfectly done) as appetizers and then we both had the lobster pie. Can't say enough about the lobster pie - it was chocked full of meat, moist, delicious, and a huge serving. Best meal we have had in a while!

We first came here for lunch in November when we were in the area for a wedding. We were so happy with our experience that I have been back two more times (it's about a 50 minute drive from where I live). The fish tacos are SO good. The prices are on par with your average seafood restaurant, but what sets the Seaport Grille above the rest are the portion sizes. The value here is real. On our last visit they tried to seat my party of four at a huge high top table meant for like 16 people, which I thought was really weird. i'm not usually one to ask to change tables, but it was a really odd spot for such a small party and I noticed the outdoor deck was open and asked to sit there instead. They accomodated my request and I'm so glad we sat out there - it was a beautiful day and you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the pier. The service is always good here and the food is fresh. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

We luckily happened onto the Seaport Grille around 1 pm on a Thursday in late May. Gloucester seemed very busy , but having never been here before, I’m sure it gets even busier mid-summer. We lucked into a parking spot in the lot directly in front of the restaurant; I don’t know if they have overflow parking elsewhere, but it seems like this lot must fill up during their busy season. When we arrived, we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait for a table for 2, and it ended up being just about 15 minutes. We were seated at a “high top” table near the window (the flaps were still down, but it was a nice sunny day), but because they were so busy, I didn’t ask for a standard table. The high top was fine for a short lunch. Note, the restaurant is right in a commercial area of the port, and right next to the AmeriCold warehouse, with a lot of semi trucks being loaded and moved around while we were eating. This did not bother us, and we actually enjoyed the hustle and bustle of watching the happenings next door. There is also a bar area with 3 or 4 TV’s showing sports channels nearby these seats, too. But, if you are looking for a quiet dinner for two, this may not be the place (or at least not this part of the dining room) for you. We really lucked out coming in on a Thursday, as their weekly special on Thurs is the lobster roll special for $22 (includes fries or cole slaw). This seems to be a decent price for lobster roll & fries. It was a good lobster roll (not the best I’ve ever had). It was a generous portion of lobster and huge serving of fries. I would say the roll was the weak spot of this lobster roll. I don’t think the roll or the lobster was served warm, although their menu does say served on a buttered New England roll. Frozen strawberry daiquiri was $13. It was good, with whipped cream on top, but probably wouldn’t get again at that price. Draft local beer was $6. Total bill before tax/tip was $63. They do have an extensive menu, and if I visited the area again, I might go back and try another seafood item instead, especially for dinner. There was a lady at the table next to us who ordered what appeared to be a fried seafood platter of some sort. I have no idea which item it was, but it looked like enough food for 3 People for lunch, at least. She also had a delicious looking tall Bloody Mary. For lunch, at least, I would say this is a very busy restaurant, and not very quiet. But, our server was attentive and checked back on us at least twice to see if everything was ok. If you are in Gloucester, and have time to wait for up to 20 minutes or so (if you don’t have a reservation), I would say it is well worth the wait.

We have dined at the Seaport Grille several times while in the Gloucester area. We have never been disappointed.

Had a great experience here. Service was friendly and super quick. Food was great (we had the calamari plate and the tacos). Price was on the high side, but the portions were big enough to make up for it.Great view of the water from the main room and they have outdoor seating although it was all taken when we were there.Would come again.
