I usually love Mike’s Place but the past few times have been very disappointing. I would have given only one star but the party pizzas we ordered were quite good and saved our cookout. But the baked ziti (full tray) was so watery and tasteless that no one ate any and I ended up composting the whole tray. And the Greek salad (also full tray) was sent with moldy feta cheese. I sent my daughter to get some new cheese from them and the guy actually told her that it wasn’t moldy, it was “dark feta”. There is no such thing as dark feta (LIES) and it was definitely moldy. Just gross. That got tossed too. And the kalamata olives in the salad were bad too. I have never been so disappointed and wasted so much money. It was for a graduation party so half the food I served was bad, I was embarrassed and mad! I had only ordered the pizza as a backup for the kids but it ended up being the only thing the adults ate from Mike’s.
Simple food...simple order...Italian sub with everythingCheesey fries after I confirmed they used a melted smooth cheese like a Velveeta...assured yes... otherwise I had an alternative order...took home...ugh!Fries with shredded cheese melted on top and an Italian sub...with the correct meet and cheese...over flowing with hots and very little lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions.Called to lodge a complaint about the cheesy fries since I was assured it was what I wanted...no apologies...brief pause...then an "ok" from the girl who waited on me and the call ended.Silly me,gave them one more try for a garden salad. With tax came to $10.17. Got it home and took it out of the bag. I got a small bowl with lettuce, 2 small cucumber slices and 1 peppercini. Really ???? Called again to complain. No apologies, She just ok and hung up.Beyond disappointed...and they lost us as customers and I will not hesitate to share my experiences
I tried this pizzeria for the for the first time. By far the best grinder hands down. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is great. Highly recommend.
I ordered two Chicken Kabob Salads the Chicken was way over cooked. The chicken was hard i could hardly cut it with a knife. I asked for feta cheese on both Salads there was hardly any on either one. A waste of money they were barley edible. I can't believe you expect people to eat chicken like that. You don't even deserve one star.
Pale reflection of what it once was. Mikey must not come around anymore to visit. He ran a tight ship.i ordered a roast beef 3 way 3 different times and each time it was stuffed with close to raw,cooked and over cooked meat causing me to think that they just scrap the daily remains off the grill into a bun when ordered. I always ask for light on the condiments and it come back drenched and sloppy. I' actually also, in the past,ordered two separate deliveries that came back completely wrong. asked for a steak tip sandwich and got a chicken cutlet and asked for a chicken finger and got chicken cutlet with spaghetti. Called back on the second one and they told me they'd make my order right but expectedl me to come get it .think they got a thing for cutlet? Lol But anyway. I tried. It's heartbreaking because it was always a go to place for most of my life. Things change i get it. Cool people though I'm sure but I'm not there for the smiles
I love Mike's place - the salads are AMAZING!!! Everyone who works there is super friendly and nice.
They never pickup their phone on weekdays. Can't order online either. 2 stars for sucking
Came to 100.11 most was really cold but did was impressed how my gfs chocolate chicozone but came with bananas an no chocolate chips an never picked 2 have them in it so she never had the rest. What was warm an good enough to eat was the chicken fingers that just made the warm enough but just made it an the roast beef sandwich an my Cinnamon crazy sticks were cold an didn't come with the icing. Our 2 orders of onion rings came shoveled into 1 carton an looked 2 sad an gross 2 eat I feel bad an think only bad experience I have had from my local known places to order from that had 2 take pics an feel bad writing. But hope was just a one time mistake since don't order out much myself lol
Honestly the food isn't the best forget customer service and as for cleanliness uhhhh raw meat in the marinara and hair in the food. Also way to pricey for what they offer.
