We have ordered from Midori for over a decade and were generally pleased with their take-out. No longer. Tonight’s meal was barely edible. The yellowtail and the salmon roe sushi were delicious but the eel rolls were rubbery, the avocado slimy and the “tempura” had the consistency and appearance of stale biscuits. The broth in their Pho was bland and tasteless. Might try again should the Pandemic ever end but sushi is entirely too costly to be this lacking.

Very deceiving from the outside, almost didn't go in. But once we got in, the interior is much more inviting. We've been here several times and the service is always great, very friendly and on top of things. The drinks are great, food is very good and portion sizes are large. We always split entrees between the two of us and have more than enough to eat. Fairly priced and great staff

Amazing food and the owner was great! Made us feel so welcome and service was fast. Steamed pork dumplings were the family favorite but everything we had was good! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again when we are in the area.
Hands down best spot in gloucester if you want good chinese/Japanese food. The staff there are welcoming, considerate, smart, and the food is finger licking good. 10/10
