Was in town to visit my kids and came to Leonardo's for dinner. They were very friendly inside, pizza took a bit to come out and it was very greasy. Ate pizza from here over a year ago and it was pretty good that time. I was more into visiting with my kids than concerned about how the food tested.
Just happened to be in Gloucester yesterday we made a stop here to eat. Good food friendly staff .
I have eaten a lot of Pizza in my time, LOL but this was by far one of the most delicious pizzas I had ever eaten and when I met the man who made the pizza he was a phenomenal gentleman respectful polite and very interesting to talk to anybody who wants a good pizza get the Hawaiian Pizza absolutely delicious I have been around the world and honestly I've never had pizza as good as this
Omg this place was just AWESOME ! I would be in trouble if we had this at home lol. Honestly if your in the area and want something different than the seafood you have to drop in. They have a Huge menu and we sampled Alot?.Everything was delicious and made fresh to order.The sauce and dough for the pizza is made fresh daily. We did eat in and the service was great and everyone was very friendly
Leonardo's Pizza was a gem found by accident. Prior activities got us back to town late and we really had our heart set on eating seafood during our vacation. I know what you're thinking because we thought the same, we can get pizza at home.Well take a moment to look them up and view the menu because they don't stop with pizza. They have dinners, appetizers, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, subs, hamburgers, omelets and so much moreI recommend trying the cheesy rice balls. I would definitely go back if I were given the chance.The portions are huge and worth every bite!
Veal Parm entirely burnt. The owner, who I see isn't Leonardo any longer, is of Middle Eastern descent, is telling me it's not burnt, (it's been exposed he said, whatever that means) only looks burnt. Lol. A true con artist.I told him it certainly tastes burnt too but he continued to try to convince me my sandwich wasn't burnt.The restaurant was dirty too. I'm surprised the the health department hasn't addressed it.Anyway, we won't be going back there againTo reply to the owners rebuttal, I've attached a picture of the veal parm (so you can see I'm not going for the free sandwich con lol) that he's convincing me that isn't burnt and yes, he offered to make me another sandwich but I'm not going out of my way again to treck down there.

We would have loved to try their pizza, but we didn’t have a chance. The woman working in the evening on 8/21/21 had the worst customer service I have ever seen in any restaurant I have ever visited. After her being so rude to myself and my family who were visiting Gloucester on vacation, we decided to take our business elsewhere. We found a nice restaurant down the street and were welcomed with a smile as soon as we walked in the door. There is no way I would give my money to a business that treats their customers so negatively! Hopefully she doesn’t scare off any more potential customers with that bad attitude.
