The food here is absolutely amazing. It's run like a mom and pop place but is huge and can take big groups. The Cengdu lamb, smoky chicken, shredded chicken in napa cabbage and gengu fried fish filet are the best. Their house fried rice has the most amazing wok hay smoky umami flavor ever. 10/10

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. We love spicy food--our favorite dishes are: spicy chicken wings, spicy dumpings, dan dan noodles, house special fried rice, gangou dry fish filet, sichuan style string beans. We have never had a dish here that we didn't like. the fried rice is so different from what you get at other Chinese restaurants--it's light and not greasy, and it's not overly soy sauced. If you love spicy food, you will love Sichuan Gourmet!

Attentive staff, food comes out quick. Nice menu selection and authentic taste.

We like their lamb, beef, pork kidney and intestine dishes. Usually pretty well done, but sometimes you can get a dish that is just not there yet. They always correct it immediately. Their lo mein is not as good as other places though.

Great food, good service and the prices are good for how much they give you. Authentic chinese food with a bit of american chinese selections to help those who arent interested in trying out new things.

One of my all time favorite restaurants of all time. I've never had a bad meal here. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and VERY authentic. It is not watered down or Americanized in any way. I love this place and I'm so glad they survived the COVID madness. This isn't your typical mom and pop take out. This is REAL Sichuan cuisine. So damn good.

I'm a big fan of Sichuan Gourmet. They specialize in Szechuan style food, so be prepared for a lot of spicy dishes. They have all the typical American Chinese offerings, but you can also enjoy quite a bit of traditional Chinese dishes as well. Don't be afraid! Branch out! You only live once!Tips:- The cocktails are a good price. They're small but strong and affordable.- Hot tea is included at no charge.- They are located on the second floor of their building. Accessible by stairs but there is also an elevator outside the restaurant main doors.- Masking encouraged until you are seated.- The big bowl of white rice is good for sharing and a bit more economical.- Branch out and try something new!

A complete dissapointment. The fried rice was mostly burned, when I asked to replace it, they served me undercooked, mostly white rice, and still partially burned. Dish #2, beef lo mein, had almost no beef. Dish #3, beef with brocolli, (take home), rice was undercooked. All three dishes lacked flavor. Been there before and the quality has deteriorated immensely.

The worst "Chinese" restaurant ever.Let me explain. We live close to the restaurant and always wanted to visit it, basically because of the "gourmet" name on it. So, my wife and I finally found a date to go. When we got there, we were immediately struck with the view of employees threshing green beans in the dining room, right in front of everyone, bare handed, in the middle of a pandemic. We were in awe, but still went in and took our seats. We noticed that maybe 90% of customers were Indians (nothing against them whatsoever). But it was the first time we saw so many Indians in one supposed Chinese restaurant. So, we finally ordered our 82 dollars' worth of food, because we were starving. My wife has some kind of rejection to the Indian cuisine, because of the spicy excess and the extreme usage of curry. So, for our surprise, the food came with plenty of both, even after me asking the waitress to avoid extreme spicy. The food smelled bad, looked bad and the taste was not ok neither. I asked our waitress to replace the spicy lamb by a non-spicy option, but we couldn't eat it neither. You know that something is bad when you pay 82 dollars to leave your food untouched. Perhaps, even more weird, was to see that the waitress was puzzled when she noticed that we were leaving without eating, but never asked why. I guess that the money is all that matters, right? So, the reason why I put Chinese in quotes, is because this is not a Chinese restaurant, it's a hybrid Chinese/Indian restaurant, and it's NOT a gourmet restaurant WHATSOEVER.if you like Indian cousine and are not picky with cleanness, you will probably like Sichuan Gourmet, otherwise stay out of there.

A complete dissapointment. Was served burned rice, when asked to have it replaced was served undercooked, mostly white and still partially burned rice (see picture of second attempt). Order #2, beef lo mein, had almost no beef. Order #3, beef brocolli (take home) rice was undercooked. All three dishes laked flavor. Been there before and the quality has deteriorated greatly.
