My family and I got takeout from here on Wednesday and didn't get all the food I had ordered and there was no answer on the phone when I tried calling back to maybe fix the issue. We ordered 2 avocado maki, beef lo mein, pork fried rice, a crazy maki and a snow mountain maki. We got all but the beef lo mein instead we got beef udon and my twin 2.5 year old boys wouldn't touch it. I have always thought this place charged too much for the quality and portion they serve you. The sushi is always falling apart and the fried rice is never fried properly. I blame poor management and bad chefs. Needless to say we will be getting our weekly asian takeout from somewhere else from now on.
I understand why this place has only 3 starts, and what a shame. This place has so much potential.Food - sushi is good and fresh but portions and small and prices are very high. Tiny spicy tune roil for $11. Watermelon martini costs $19. INSANE.Service - horrible. Waiters are nice but very unknowledgeable and not professional. Looks like they took some people off the street, and told them - serve food to tables.First of all you have no idea who the waiters are. They are wearing plain cloths and have no name tags. Most of them don't really understand English and have no idea about the menu. They stop by your table with dirty dishes they picked up at other tables, put them on your table, and take your order by writing it down on a piece of paper. You would expect this from some seaside hotdog shack, not a sushi and steakhouse restaurant.Ambiance - outdoor patio is lovely. We came in on a Friday evening and found an open table, Inside was almost empty on a Friday evening, which says a a lot. This place has great potential. It needs new management or someone to take over and re-organize everything. Hire professional waiters, clean up the place, re-invent the menu, and this place could be booming.
Loved my organic grilled chicken salad - so fresh with fruit & a light dressing! Eating out on the deck was very relaxing.
Food was terrific! However we were there on a Friday night and at 8:15, the place suddenly turned into a club. Definitely unexpected and not what I wanted for dinner time. Impossible to have a conversation.
Best sushi besides San Francisco. Will drive across the USA again for this plate
Somewhat pricey but pretty good. I had a better quality experience the second visit. The sushi was better than I expected and the spicy edamame was really good too.
This restaurant was horrible I was recommended this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, the chef was horrendous he cooked everything less than 5min the fried rice was undercooked and the egg was given to us raw mixed in then he tossed it on our plate, WHO does that.. the place was unsanitary there’s so many health code violations omg ? wait staff well they are there but mentioned there’s no manager or owner etc.. just so disappointing. I say stay away if you don’t want salmonella poisoning! Unhealthy!
Great dining experience and highly recommended! I had a wonderful valentine’s dinner with my husband here tonight and the food was delicious.
Yoshi was awesome, absolutely upstaging the lack of personality and charm of the hostess. ?
It’s a nice place, good food. For 2 mai tais, sushi roll ( I believe was 14$ ) and hibachi I think was 30$ each for our plate that we chose. After it’s all said and done with tip came out to 120$.Note this! Because they won’t tell you- Gratuity charge of 18% is already added on! Don’t double tip if you don’t have to or want to.
