I've always loved this place but was a little disappointed last night when I received my lobster roll. $40 and it was served on a toated hot dog roll! The roll was toasted but was not really edible; too hard. I have to say the lobster was delicious. A restaurant of this caliber should be using better rolls other than a hot dog bun for their lobster...especially when you're paying $40.

The outdoor deck this time of year is great and the staff awesome.

First time here. Kendra gave great customer service and she was pleasant and always smiling her daughter Felicity is the hostess. I had the steak tips w/zucchini and carrots the tips were juicy for the appetizer I had the calamari and it's good. They have an outdoor patio which is along the water. They also have a band that plays every weekend. They also have valet parking on the weekends. The prices were a bit expensive. If you like seafood this is the place to go.

I had celebration of life for my wife at the cove I had to write a review . It was amazing from Alison the event planer to the staff that night was perfect everyone was so accommodating and friendly! And the food was amazing ? I would definitely have any event here it was like I was family ? thank you everyone for a special night

The outdoor setting has a stunning westerly view overlooking the Taunton River, but don't go there for the food. Indoors is pleasantly spacious, though can be noisy from the clatter of the bar and customers. A great place for drinks and levity. The food... is average, no real ethnicity noted at this resteraunt food selection or flavor. There a many more authentic Portuguese resteraunt from which to choose and be delighted with taste and quantity. The food here was ok, the chicken tenders for the kiddos were ok, as was the strawberry/spinach salad. The sushi was also just ok. Turks in Marion is the gold star for sushi in this South coast area. DO NOT BUY the Charcuterie Board it is a skimpy overpriced tray consisting of 10 small grapes, 5 green olives, 6 thin slices of 3 types of cheddar cheese, 1 large sliced strawberry, 12 crackers of 3 non descript varieties, 6 slices of rolled salami meat, and a tablespoon of jam... all for an astounding $28.00 ! WAY OVERPRICED for an average collection of foods. There is no lunch menu. If this was the lunch menu then i can not imagine the cost of dinner here, considering the quality and quantity. This is a great place to party, just at before you go.

The food was really good. Totally enjoyed the calamari, & the fish and chips. The cocktails were sneakily killer. This is a beautiful location, right on the water. Our party of 6 all enjoyed the food, but not all of us raved about it. Very expensive. The braised short ribs, weren’t melt in your mouth, a little stringy.

Beautiful restaurant on the water overlooking the bridge and battle ship cove. Raw bar is amazing. We had the prime rib sandwich, it was a good portion and delicious. The wait staff was wonderful. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

Avoid this place if you have any type of allergies. I have a severe dairy allergy and explained to the waitress (which I believe she knew) and communicated it to the chef. I ordered the portuguese steak and was told that the rice was the only thing made with butter. So they would just substitute the rice with extra fries, which is great. We get our food and I am about a few bites in and can feel my throat closing. Investigating my plate I come to notice it looks as though they may have added the rice to my plate and tried to scrape it off. The rice was mixed in with the steak sauce. I immediately had to go to the car and take some benadryl to prevent my throat from closing more and inject myself with the epi pen. My wife waited in the restaurant to pay for the meal and when the manager came, he said they would deduct the meal from our order. I wasn't even able to finish the pitcher of sangria. I would think with the amount of money you spend there, they would understand the severity of a food allergy and be more accommodating.

That was my 1st time there, it was soooooo beautiful!?? inside and out! Service, food and atmosphere were great!

My sister & niece were visiting from.NJ. I brought them to the Cove prior to this visit, so she insisted we go again & it was well worth every penny. So, on Friday March 26th, we.met @ the Cove @ a table with a view & it was fantastic!! Great food & ambiance, friendly accommodating staff & chef ( he even prepared a special batter for my 24 yo niece so she could enjoy her fish & chips. We will continue to patronize the Cove & enjoy the great local seafood. Two thumbs all.the way! ?2 ?
