Really enjoyed the food. Had the fried scallops and they were everything a fried scallops should be, crispy and slightly sweet. Delicious!
I was moving all day and went to St. James for dinner. Great food, great prices, great service! I'll go again!

Worst Irish pub I ever had, my colleague was asked for an ID then he showed his European ID but they didn't honor it since it wasn't American according to one bouncer, but logically ID is ID. He even pushed my colleague on the floor for asking what's wrong very bad bouncer, doesn't know people management skills. He was only asking what wrong then told him, "don't talk to me" then push him like God knows who he is without valid reason. We were just have a good time, no harm done. We are all behaved and ordered something just to talk about then this guy acts like crazy. Too bad very embarrassing.
Place is awesome.. employees are fabulous.. they are polite and treat you like your there best friend.Also good beer and mixed drinks..
It's an old school pub with good drinks an a above good menu. There wings are incredible.
A fun place on a Friday night, especially if your're of the twenties to thirties crowd. ( I'm just a little bit older 50's lol) They have live music, usually a duo which has ranged from an Irish music to cover stuff both old and new. It's a lively place with a pulse to it.The only down fall and it's not just here is that no one seems to know how to make a drink anymore or know how to serve it. I know times have moved forward but basic drinks by name they're clueless. I don't mind telling them but they really should know a little more before putting them behind a bar. They use one size straws (soda no swizzle stix) for everything which is very annoying when you have something in the rocks. They also seem to forget your garnish, lemon,lime etc. Which to me completes the drink.They do have a lot of micro beers on tap and the prices are reasonable so not a bad place to check out on a Friday!
The cook Tiffany is always on the cell phone with her prison boyfriend while cooking your food. HEALTH HAZARD! did you not take servsafe food handlers class? put the phone down before you make people sick! And to think the owner Ron calls the board of health on other city restraunts so he will have less competition. Unreal
Last night I had the worst experience of my life at this bar. I was with a friend and we ordered margueritas, the first ones were very good but from the third one onwards it was so acidic it felt like I was squeezing the lemon in my mouth, and there was no alcohol at all. We asked to pay to leave, without having the last drink, the card was on the counter for more than twenty minutes and the bartenders pretended we didn't exist. When a bartender finally came to help us, my friend complained about the drinks and the lack of attention, that's when the security guard started yelling like we were refusing to pay the $72.00 bill, that had already been paid. We were extremely offended in that place. I don't recommend anyone to go. I'm only giving one star to be registered, but it should be -5 stars. To the owner of the bar is my recommendation to hire people to work who are professionals and who be polite and respectful to people.
do not recommend waitress had a really crappy attitude off the jump. and then after arguing about what was ordered. she goes in the kitchen, and on her way out she the other waitress says just spit in their food. I confronted the manager and then the waitress where they began to swear at me and then kicked me out of the establishment.. horrible service crappy waitress.. DO NOT Reccomend.
