All of the Polish favorites and Patty herself was in the kitchen! The service was great. They served me a nicely made drink and we even took a loaf of Polish rye home. A large portion of this bread comes with your meal. It's hard to stop eating the bread so that you leave room for all the perogies, gulumpkis and keilbasa. Ala carte or platter items are available. Super good choice!
Married into a Polish family 40+ years ago and have had a hankering for good Polish food ever since. Love this restaurant for home cooked goodness!. Yes, there is a Patty in the kitchen. For anyone seeking a new experience, this cuisine is very approachable and won't scare you like many spicy alternatives. Absolutely try kapusta (cabbage soup).
I would definitely come here again!!! The ambiance was nice cozy. The service was great. The food was great. It was fresh, light, it had a nice authentic taste to it. Everything I tried was perfect.
Great food, great value, great service. The food here is delicious. Especially the Golabki and the Kielbasa. The cook really goes above and beyond in what she does in the kitchen and it shows in her food. The staff in the front of the house is attentive and friendly and care about their patrons. While we were there the waitress running the front end was very helpful to several take out patrons, while she also helped us and someone at the bar and at no time did she make any of us feel like we were being left unattended. She was wonderful! I can see why they have been there for 13 years, attention to detail, good food, caring about your patrons and just overall good service. When we moved to this area I was excited to try Patti's. Unfortunately I didn't think it was anything great. Service was good but the food was very blah! Perogis were limp, soggy and flavorless. Kielbasa was the best part. Apparently house made and very good! The stuffed cabbage had no flavor at all. Disappointing.
I don't know how this place doesn't have a 6-star average. Came here because it was good enough for Bill Murray and it is more than good enough for me. My favorite thing is the Kaputsa soup with Kielbasa, but the pierogi are excellent, as is the stuffed cabbage. Get some Okocim (like okra-chin, without the r in okra) beer and you'll be a happy person. Patti comes round often and is super nice.
The food was fresh, speedy, and the waitress was kind. Cannot wait when I return to Fall River and get to have these pierogis again! Each batch was flavorful.
We started out with the Cabbage Andouille Sausage Soup bowl and it was hot, tasty and had plenty of meat. In fact, it’s a meal unto itself! We’ll either share next time or order the cups. I next ordered the Homemade Kielbasa ring and again, way too much food because we also ordered the 8 Is Enough dish with sweet Italian sausage instead of the potato cheese pierogi and my wife ordered a half dozen Specialty Pierogis. We ended up taking most of the food home. Our waitress was great and answered all our questions. 4 Stars because the restaurant is very cold inside (1/26/22). Everyone kept their winter coats on while eating and that made it uncomfortable to fully enjoy the meal.
The best pierogis in the area! A DDD restaurant for a reason. No matter what type of Pietogis you get expect such flavorful fillings in each one. The cabbage and pork classic! The sausage and pepper so flavorful. Just as is the French meat pie and the shepards pie. Amazing!! Must try
