This food was disgusting. It was so bad and DRY I asked them for a refund and I wouldn’t eat it and they told me no to call my card and report it because they weren’t going to refund my money for that nasty food. The customer service was horrible the “manager” yelled at me and got mad at me because the food was disgusting and I wouldn’t eat it these ppl are horrible I would recommend not eating here. The ONLY reason I chose to get food here is because I got confused with the Golden River which is way better than this place ! I’ve never been so disgusted in my life ! Oh and how can I forget I saw a man drop raw chicken on the floor and look up and look around almost putting it on the stove his hand was over the stove ready to drop until he seen me staring at him and he went to go find the trash! Please do not eat here you will be making a mistake ! There are plenty of places you can get good moist food not dried hard nasty food! Trust me do not eat here !!!! I wish I could of gave negative stars cause this is the nastiest place ever!

i would rate this five stars based on a visit to my hometown, as reviewers at yelp say, the owners, employees change and so does the food and service, worth a try. ...my cousin found it good enough to share with her out-of-town family members, and i found it was good food and service.
The food is usually always on point and they are super quick with delivery
These owners are absolutely the most friendly family. On top of that my food literally gets to my house in less than 20 minutes sometimes. They are fast and the food is hot. Do not sleep on this place!!! They are fantastic!
I see a lot of mixed reviews about this place and I just wanna say I grew up in South End Fall River and usually only grabbed Chinese in that area. Since I've moved and have been wanting to try all of Fall Rivers Chinese restaurants it was time I finally tried New Golden Star, although I haven't made my way thru everything I want to try I haven't had one bad experience, everything has been delicious and flavorful, small family who owns it they are always kind and don't even need to read back my order anymore for how frequent I have been going, if you're looking to try something new like me give Golden star a try !
There's just something special about their Chow Mein Sandwich that makes me truly want to say its Fall River's best and you have to try it nice and fresh! Another one of my favorites is the Chicken Lo Men. Mmmm!!! Other people fancy the General Tso Chicken as well. ?
