it was so cold inside I was freezing, and so was everybody else, the food took forever and it wasn't even busy, order eggs over easy with bacon, hash browns and toast, ordered a side of ham and they charged me for the hash browns and the ham, and for a small coffee it was $3.39, that is just unbelievable, never ever will go there again and I will tell people about it! and the bacon was disgusting asked for crispy and got two small small pieces of fake bacon, do not go there!
I mentioned to my husband how surprised I was, there was only one car in the parking lot. We went in and stood by the please wait to be seated sign. After five minutes of waiting and smelling how dirty it was in there, we left. We were never seated. The place was empty except for one family at a table. Now I understand why it was so vacant. It was like a creepy horror movie, complete with a flickering light, in an empty kitchen. This Denny's is nothing like the original Denny's in Fall River. The waitresses were constantly wiping everything down in the old location. I have left far more good reviews on Google than bad. This was the worse. They should try cleaning the restaurant and paying attention to customers. They may actually get people to come in.
The restaurant was pretty much vacant. We had 3 employees walk by and address us but not seat us. Eventually we were seated and we placed our order. 5 tables were occupied. We waited 40 minutes for breakfast for 3 people. One being a child. On a Sunday afternoon. My hash was cold and under cooked. My sausage was cold. The English muffin was hardly toasted with a mark of butter. Our bill was 60.00$. My husband and I frequently visit restaurants for breakfast. 2/3 times a week. This was by far the worst service, food, and charge ever. I will never go back. It was disgusting. Including the food.
One word for the Fall River Dennys ... HORRIBLE. Went this morning for breakfast for Mothers Day. Got there at 8:30 & an hour later still did not have our food. The waitress came walking by & I asked her for our check so we could pay for our drinks & leave because after waiting an hour , we were all set. Her response ( with a lousy attitude ) was that it's a holiday , to which I responded that large parties ( we were only a party of 4 ) had all come in after us & were already eating. Never ever again.
It was good to go back to a staple of my generation. I honestly wasn’t impressed though. My first time in 20+ years might be my last. Food was very bland. Service was ok For a restaurant that has only been open for a year it looks like it’s been open for 20. ?
The best thing about the place was my server Rebecca. She was bright, cheerful and attentive. She was a refreshing change of pace from other servers at this and other restaurants.
Cook Norman did an excellent job. Our server Celeste was excellent and personable, friendly. Manager Alexis runs the place well. I don't know why they weren't busy considering the great deal on the all you can eat breakfast for just 7.00! Coming back from New Bedford for sure!
It was horrible. I asked for a western sandwich. Which no one knew what it was. Every place know what's in a western or a eastern. Than they made a sandwich that they had on the menu called ham( something) then just added the peppers and onions. Plus when the bill came they changed and extra price for the peppers and onions. The Manger that came over to the table to help.us with the situation was not helpful at all. My boyfriend and I go out to eat alot. We never complain as we don't have to. This he stated I will never go back there.He is far from cheap but was disappointed in the service and Manger reply. Stating well that's how it is here. That was poor customer service. Her attitude was as of she could care less.
Was seated in 10 minutes. Never saw waitress. Cornered one after waiting more than half an hour. Asked for water and waitress. Had both in 3 minutes. Hamburgers over cooked. Service sucked!
The dining room was much smaller than I expected, but comfy. There was one girl doing everything. Seating customers, waiting tables, cashing people out. Jeesh.. She did it all with a smile and friendly attitude. I got a grand slamwich. I should have taken a picture, but I stuffed it in my face. Delicious! My mom got a burger. It was also prepared just as she asked, and delicious! This was comfort food that made my belly happy! I would absolutely go back to fill my face again.. ?
