I enjoyed every single bite of the desserts I had at Barcelos bakery. They are just delicious, they are rich in flavour and they are not too sweet. Well, what I can say I have a sweet tooth ?.I decided to try some portuguese sweets such as the queijada de feijão vermelho, pasteís de nata and queijada da vila. The last one is my favourite. This portuguese cheesecake tart has a soft and moisture filling and a crispy crust. This dessert goes very well after the choriço and peppers.Btw, the choriço and peppers taste great, but I would have preferred it to be a bit spicy.

Perfect Cafe for a meet up or a morning coffee snack run. Portuguese Latte was delicious and the toasted papo secos with butter and cheese hit the spot. Very friendly staff also.
Everything looks so good! Barcelos has very good Pastel de Nata and cakepops. The people are very kind and it is a wonderful place to visit.
Delicious sandwiches and baked items. All very good. I would recommend the Oreo cheesecake and the fried dough balls to others. Also as a suggestion to barcelos,I suggest that they hire someone who can communicate better, understanding English better. And maybe for the service to be a little faster. But the food and bakery items are amazing.
The atmosphere was warm and full of holiday cheer. All though it was quite busy you didn't get the impression that you were being rushed. The staff was excited to tell you all about their amazing, freshly baked pastries. They even let you sample a pastry if you are not sure. If you want a homey all inclusive experience with a delicious outcome this the place.
I have come here many times and have brought many business to this bakery. I have noticed the customer service has changed, and it is not due to Covid19! As of tonight, I was disrespected by the owners daughter by talking over me as I'm trying to explain my order and yet told me if i wanted it or not with an attitude! I find it as a PAYING CUSTOMER; there is no need to be rude or unprofessional. As of today, I will bring my business else where. I hope that this review gets noticed and i hope no one has to go through this. Remember your in business due to customers if it wasn't for customers you would not be in business! Customers look at reviews and this one isn't a good one towards your business.
Want to feel like you're back in Portugal? Go order some natas and a coffee and enjoy! The interior, clients, and even the prices will make you feel like you're back in Europe. It's hard to find quality natas on this side of the Atlantic.
