The staff at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean, and the environment is positive. Free breakfast and coffee in the morning is a plus. The neighborhood in Everett seems calm and safe even at night. It's a great place for travelers from all over the world.

I'm mainly writing this because I saw some reviews in the past saying that the breakfast is only coffee and bread. I would like to correct this: the breakfast, which is included in the price, is tea and coffee with toast, peanut butter and jelly, of which you can have as much as you want. Maybe it's not a big difference for some people, but I don't think saying just coffee and bread is fair. Apart from that, the staff are amazing, kind and helpful. The rooms have heir own bathroom with shower, very clean. There is also a fridge, lockers and enough sockets (contrary to what it said in a past review). Maybe this changed after the renovation.

I just spent the last 4 days here and had a great experience. The owner was very friendly and helpful anytime I had a question. They are currently remodeling all of the rooms so some aren’t available but the ones that are, are very clean. I have nothing but good things to say about this hostel and its host!

The staff here was the highlight, very kind, thoughful and helpful. I had a request for my room and they were very obliging. At the time of writing, this hostel was recently renovated and both kitchen areas and bathrooms of the dorms were great. There are some simple lockers provided (you need your own lock, as is the case for many hostels), but if you are sharing with others and want extra security there are other storage options around eg. Bounce
This is a very, very late review. I visited in 2019 and found the staff and facilities there absolutely nice, especially for a hostel in the US. Breadfast and free ride to subway station were also very satisfactory. For lone backpackers on a low budget, this hostel is a wise choice
