You have option to seat outside, no reservations needed. The food was good, the server to check on us for feedback.
I wasn't impressed the past few trips to the Cantina. Getting seated seemed to have been a big issue this last visit. (there were so many tables open that it was a nagging surprise that there was an issue getting one that was open outside. Guacamole is a must. I love their black bean dip that's served along with salsa.
Great Mexican restaurant in Legacy plaza area in Dedham. Huge selection of tequila with multiple page tequila menu. The chicken tacos, fajitas and roya enchiladas was all very good. The guacamole appetizer was very good with some spiciness from fresh jalapenos mixed into it.
So bad experience over all. Order the short rib empanadas, never made to the table... I guess the server was trusting her memory obviously not too good! Had the Camarones al ajillo... what a disappointment, all I tasted was the canned clam juice, kill the shrimp/garlic flavors. Tacos please don't order those poor choice. Service was slow. We waited for about 35 minutes for our food after was ordered... we went on a Sunday by 1:30 pm, dining room was empty they just had the patio about 80% capacity. Not sure what's the story. Almost $150.00 bill not worthy of a come back!
The food and drinks have gone down from what they used to be. I visited once a week to this place for tacos and drinks and when we dined in recently, the food was blant and the drinks were watered down. Not sure if it's a one time bad experience or this place has lost its charm
Good location, decent food, poor service. I've been to several Temazcals around Boston and was disappointed with service at the Legacy Place location. In general this restaurant chain feels a bit overpriced for the type of food and service you receive. On my visit last week for dinner, we waited over 5 minutes after being seated before anyone came to greet us. Our server seemed newer--he was late to greet us, late to get our drinks, misquoted the eta of appetizers. For instance, our appetizer muscles came out at the end of finishing our dinner. I understand most of these things are out of waiters control, but it ended up being a less than enjoyable experience. The place was not crowded and it did not seem understaffed in the front of house. Food & drink preparation and flavor was good. Price/value is expensive given the above critiques.
Good service, food was delicious and well presented. A bit pricey but it was worth it.
I was skeptical of this place at first, $15 for guacamole? But the chips and salsa were free, and outstanding. Fresh chips and three different salsas is a really good start, and so filling that we skipped the guac and just ordered an entree. The shrimp in a garlic wine sauce was exceptionally delicious, we would go back for that again, but there are so many other interesting things on the menu that sounded good. Next time we'll try the guacamole ?
Beautiful place for drinks with your crew or with your boo. Definitely worth dropping by to check it out. Best part is it location. You can go shopping and drop by for drinks at the end! If you're not comfortable eating indoors yet they have covered outdoor dining with heat lamps.
Good food and beautiful area. Very attractive scenery at the Dedam location and delicious food. They had a well decorated outside lounge , where one can relax and cool off. Sometimes I and my gal takes pictures at the outside to lighten up the background. Helpful and kind staffs whom weren't so rude. My favourite meal is normally the verde enchilada. The meal is so addictive and delicious to eat. I indeed loved the restaurant food and love to go there ones in a while.
