La Taqueria 320 Washington St, Dedham, MA 02026I went to this location because my daughter said that she and some friends tried it before and it was good. So I tried it. My daughter ordered 3 tacos, the Carne Asada, Caritas and the Grilled chicken, my wife ordered the Chicken and cheese quesadilla and I ordered the fish taco (fried battered fish) you have a choice between grilled or fried, the flavor of all was impeccable, however the portions for the price was a bit hard for me to digest. My daughter's 3 small Tacos were fifteen dollars and some change, my taco was $4.99 + 25 cents for a wedge of lime I don't remember the price of the quesadilla I think it was 7 or 8 dollars and came with fries. They are a bit nickel and dime and charge 50 cents for each topping like pico de gallo or sour cream.Don't get me wrong the food tasted great the service was a bit aloof and it took a bit to get my order ( I saw my fish taco sitting there waiting to be dressed for about 5 minutes.) The average taco was about 3 bites so a bit on the small size. Normally you will find this size taco sold in an order with at least 2 or 3 for under $10.00.Even with what I perceive as high prices the flavor of the food will more than likely make me go back. I just will not choose it very often because I don't feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck.In my experience a lot of taqueria's offer beans and rice as a side so I usually order a couple of amuse-bouche sized Tacos and get a side of rice and beans to fill out the meal. So next time I will probably try that.Overall I believe if you like authentic taco's you will like this place.I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
Sad. We enjoy the food, staff is nice and we want to go back. We can't anymore. La Taqueria screwed up dinners and parties for us so often that we had to give up. Mistakes happen but ownership does not give staff the training or power to the make situations right. Too many orders with missing items we paid for but did not receive, followed by one 35 minute delay after the next, no refunds for any mistake yet and tough parking. Way too much hassle. Not worth it.
I am a very fair person when it comes to reviews, The burrito just wasn't good in my estimation, people are totally fine, parking tough but thats not really make or break. The burrito just has a destinct taste that others honestly might like, for me it just wasn't great, but that's okay. Have an open mind though, you could like it.
WORLDS GREATEST FOOD. I can not stress this enough...I had the appetizer sampler and a PORK BELLY BURRITO...yeah you read that right! Mouthwatering pork belly with all of the fresh fixings of a burrito. I live about an hour and a half away. I was full for hours and WILL BE BACK!
Absolutely terrible service. Came in to order food. Emely P. Took my order and asked for my name. Sat at the seat and waited for like 30 minutes without anyone calling my name. The seat is facing the outside. Witnessed many people coming and going for pickup.Finally came up to the counter to ask for my food and it was just sitting there. The whole time I can hear the workers fooling around and no one bothered telling me my food was ready. When it comes to food the Carne asada bowl was also salty and the overall experience have been ruined.
We've had a couple delivery issues lately and a couple issues with missing ingredients, but I can't stay mad about that because the food is so tasty. I usually get the three taco combo so I can try different flavors. We have a dairy allergy in the family and the restaurant usually reads the special instructions and makes that meal without dairy. Great food!
This place definitely worth trying. Have tried salads, burritos, tacos, street corn…all fantastic! Best place anywhere around.
La Taqueria is nicely decorated but the enjoyment stops there. We had tacos and a salad, and both lunches disappointed in quality and were a poor value. Chicken in one taco and beef in the second were tough. The salad was a very ordinary food service salad. Any extras are pricey.Although we ate at the counter, and said we were eating in, we were charged a takeout fee and our lunches were handed to us in a big paper bag, and packed for takeout, which seems to be the only method. An unattractive system, and generated lots of trash, another negative.Parking is tight, with only a handful of spots.
Customer service is really bad used to be great we placed an order about an hour ago to have it picked up at 5:30pm spent over $53.00 to come back home to part of our order missing. We ordered the Traditional Taco Combo that comes with 3 tacos + side of rice and beans but no tacos were in the bag just the small side of rice and beans . So I called and spoke to “Emily” extremely rude she simply answered “ oh you can come pick it up “ I go to her excuse me I just drove all the way there to pick up an order that I placed to have it picked up and I am supposed to come back there I just paid this much is there any way it can be delivered ? It was your fault this mistake happened if you did your job and make sure the order was all there before stapling the bag you handed to me .And she just replies back with “you can get a refund”not even a sorry for the inconvenience or sorry we don’t have any drivers she was just rude with the way she spoke from the beginning so I took my refund. Any places we’ve ordered and the restaurant made the mistake of not adding something they make the offer to have it delivered for the Inconvenience All I know is if these workers continue to get hired with the attitude they carry they will be losing their customers real fast we loved this place since we moved in Dedham which has been two years never going back there again and I can promise you We referred this place to a-lot of friends and businesses over the past two but as of today they will lose many sad this place will not last more than a year the most
After I came out the hospital with a back injury, I craved my favorite salad from here. I ordered 2 salads for delivery to West Roxbury at 6:40pm and they got delivered at 8:08pm. Disappointed with the delivery time but as I was eating the salad, my partner & I both found black hairs mixed in our salads! Disgusting! Completely disappointed with La Taqueria..
