One of the few family pubs in Dedham with outdoor seating dining. Great place to bring the kids for a family meal. Delicious healthy comfort food and selection of micro brews with the cacophony of the Yard House in Legacy Place.

Honestly one of the weirdest dining experiences of my life. They didn't seem to have outdoor seating figured out yet (a little strange for July) and were surprised when we asked for it. Our waitress was very sweet but a little awkward and would linger at the table since we were the only outdoor table when we got there. We ordered the cornbread and some cocktails. The cornbread was mostly raw but honestly still delicious. We then got a burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger didn't come with the correct toppings, which our waitress left to go get. The chicken pot pie was so good, however my date finished his plate, and even had it cleared, while our waitress served other outdoor tables that had arrived and forgot about fixing the burger. When we ordered more drinks we reminded her. When the drinks came to the table she asked if we wanted a box for the burger, and we said no, we just wanted the toppings we had been asking for. She apologized, returned with the toppings, then stood and watched as we built the burger. The burger was very cold and inedible at this point and left on the table. None of the food runners knew where to bring their food and wandered around awkwardly, the girl who brought us more drinks couldn't tell us which was which, we waited over an hour and a half for the check (spent 2 and a half hours here total). The uniforms were T shirts and whatever yoga pants they wanted to wear. The hostess was sitting in the window on her phone the whole time. Our menus were never taken and we had to awkwardly eat around them. There was only one paper drink menu that they had to keep moving from table to table. Appetizer, 4 drinks, 2 entrees was $100 but not worth the money. We would not go back here.

I really can't say much was memorable about our dinner here. Nice outdoor tables, but a menu without any "wow" factor. Quinoa bowls were enjoyed, burger was decent, chicken with tomatos was good. Service was standard.

I've been dining regularly at Horse Thieves for over 2 years now- love the evening vibe. Great cocktails, hearty food menu and is great for all occasions whether it be date night or a family outing.

Conveniently located with lots of parking nearby, this place has a good vibe, some tasty food and decent enough drinks. Service is attentive quick and efficient. The corn bread was fantastic - the main course was OK and then the desserts were very good. The shepherd pie for example had lots of potatoes and very little meat and the salmon was dry - over done. But desserts all hit the spot and in balance we left rather pleased with the experience.

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff with excellent food to match. Definitely try the loaded hassleback potato and downeast sausages. Great beer selection and extensive original cocktail. A+

Nice atmosphere but terrible food, poor portion size, chicken pot pie had virtually no chicken and was extremely bland. It’s a bad sign when you come back from a restaurant and you need to eat again, I will not return to this establishment and I would not recommend this restaurant.
