Delicious ice cream, quite a few flavours to choose, and I was happy they have smaller cup sizes. $5 for the smallest one and goes up from there. We were a big group and took out time sampling, and still the staff put up with it correctly. I'll give it another try soon!
Ice cream is always excellent.
Absolutely terrible thanks to staff and terrible customer service. The smell was horrid. We were trying to order but were told we can only sample one product according to their policy although it was stated right on their screen that you can sample three. Since I didn't like what I sampled I wasn't sure I should be getting any thing else. For the rest of my friends who were trying to order, as we saw them reach down with their arms to the bottom of the ice cream tubs we were convinced that hygiene is not a consideration in this place.
I took my niece here to get ice cream yesterday evening and the 2 people working checkout must’ve been discussing something really important because neither acknowledged me standing there waiting to pay. The girl who was sitting down finally asked what I got and punched in my order and then immediately went back to talking assuming i was paying by card or Apple Pay. She was totally oblivious to the $20 i had extended in my hand out to give her. The guy she was talking to had to point it out. The most disconnected customer service I’ve ever experienced at Toscanini. Very disappointing.
This place is every bit as good as its reputation! Creative flavors, deee-licious extra creamy ice cream, and no nonsense. Fantastic!
Already was a huge fan of the First street location. Came here for the first time recently and ice cream is as good as ever!
Fantastic ice cream with interesting flavors. A little melty, but delicious!
Ice cream here is usually great and the flavors are unique and extensive. They have sorbet options as well. I’d say most flavors I’ve had were amazing except for the strawberry flavor which I’d think is strangely hard to screw up. The strawberry flavor here was icy and not as creamy as I’d like. I usually end up getting classic cookie dough or cookies and cream but their odd flavors (like cardamom) are also quite good and worth trying.
This place has apparently won national awards for its ice cream, and honestly, I kinda get it. It's not the kind of good that makes you unable to have anyone else's for the rest of your life, and yet, it IS the best ice cream I've ever had. Almost like understated excellence. The tea-based flavors are remarkable; I've never before had the urge to pick up a pint from an ice cream joint before, but I got a pint of Earl grey flavor to go. And the dairy-based ice creams are so incredibly smooth and creamy, no clue how they do it.Sort of out of the way from Central (and fighting for clientele with another ice cream shop practically next door) but totally worth an express trip just to try.
