Ordered food through online. Showed up to pick up. The person prepping the food who I believe is the owner is talking on his cell phone handling food bare handed while switching back and forth from phone in hand to food in hand. I ask him why he’s doing that and ask for a refund as that’s very unsanitary and he refuses to give me a refund & becomes angry. I demand my refund and he becomes more angry now screaming in my face. I tell him I’m going to call the police if he doesn’t get out of my face to which he finally grabs some cash out and throws it at me.Unless you like this kind of practice I would be cautious.Unreal.
I was disappointed in this local restaurant. I had a special vegetarian lasagna. The sauce was OK. But there was hardley any cheese and only a coulpe of ounces of the eggplant / zuchini. The price was reasonable at $13, and the portion was adequate. The roasted side dish of mixed vegetables was fine, but a bit high priced at $9. All in all for a $23 meal, it was disappointing.
My wife and I visited this "hole" on 12/27/2021 for dinner about 530pm. The man who addressed us was not all that inviting or friendly. We decided to try the food. 2 bowls of linquine and meatballs, ceaser salad and a side of fried cauliflower. One bowl of salad was very large, enough for the two of us. He recommended we only get one bowl because it was large, and he was right. It was good. we did like the cauliflower. I was very disappointed regarding the entree. He gave us only 3 meatballs cut in half for that large bowl of linquine. The meatballs were not that great. too dry, and not seasoned well to taste. the "room" there, was inadequate and uncomfortable to sit. The seats were solid wood and uninviting. Maybe other offered dishes are better, but I cannot attest to such. Ed on Massachusetts
Very good pizza! And staff was very nice. Food was ready quickly. Only complaint is that the vegetables in the salad and on the pizza were chopped very thick - almost half tomatoes in the salad and whole big chunks of red onion on the pizza
Superb food, cooked to perfection. As if I had made it at home, only better!
Wonderful neighbourhood pizza spot. Great thin crust pizza and kind owners.Just started taking credit cards as well.Despite what maps says, they are open on Sundays.
staff/ownership is very friendly, and the pizza is exquisite — especially the fried eggplant, as well as the chicken and broccoli. highly recommend.
Food is incredible, makes a perfect slice of pie. Owner is very nice and they have an incredible selection of gourmet items!
In my personal opinion, the best Italian food in Boston. I've loved there pizza for years, not going anywhere else but Village kitchen. I recommend it a lot.
Incredibly delicious pizza. Crust is on point. My favorite is the pesto, goat cheese, sausage pizza. I would have never thought of this combo before, but it is so so good. Highly recommend.
