This place is legit. My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary and wanted to do something fancy so we did the tasting menu and were very pleased. Creative food, good wine, quality service, they've got it all. Another thing that's cool is that they have eliminated tipping.

My boyfriend and I went here last weekend for our anniversary. The staff was so attentive, patient and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious and a very romantic atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

We recently had a private event at Talulla (as happy return customers), and were absolutely BLOWN away at how exceptional the event was. The Talulla team was so helpful, helping us craft a customized menu, select wines for dinner, think through logistics of having a mini-cocktail hour before the dinner began. They were also incredibly responsive throughout the process, even when I had more than a few questions, which I appreciated so much given how crazy life is these days. The event was also perfect, day of. The food was truly exquisite -- the scallop crudo, the duck, and the neri pasta were particular highlights. Cocktails were all incredible, and I loved the wine options they helped us select as well. The team was so kind and helpful day of - felt like we were all among friends. We had the absolute best celebration, and cannot recommend Talulla more highly, for a dinner date or for a private event. THANK YOU!!

My wife and I are in Cambridge from the Midwest for a school visit. We met a couple we came to know through an educational tour eleven years ago. The intimate ambiance and carefully and wonderfully prepared food was exceptional and added to the experience! The four of us split dishes (as much as possible) all with agreement about the quality. Thank you to the owners of Tululla for a wonderful evening. As the vegan in the bunch the restaurant made pretty effortless tweaks to accommodate.

Super cute location & really delicious food! I'd recommend reserving the private outdoor greenhouse tables if you can. We dined outside in 50 degrees weather and felt nice and toasty with the heaters in the greenhouse. It was cozy and intimate. For dinner, we had the bread with honey butter, heirloom carrots, seafood bucatini, sea bass, and s'mores sundae. Everything tasted so fresh. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!

I had been looking forward to dining at Tallula for awhile. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype and at the end, was priced like a Michelin-starred experience without the menu or experience of one.Food: I came with a friend and we both got the tasting menu with the bread basket to start. The bread and butter was actually excellent and the best part of the meal. The opening appetizer was raw scallops, and that was actually quite nice, as it had a floral and peppery taste to it. The 2nd course was fois gras with (more) bread. Perhaps this is where I wish we didn’t start with the bread basket, as the bread with the foie gras seemed like cheap white toast in comparison. The foie gras itself, I felt was ruined. Perhaps I am a purist, but whatever gelatin and berry mix they made with the foie gras taste overly acidic and fruity and took away from the rich, earthy, buttery-ness that one would expect. Next up was the pasta - I had squid ink cavatelli and my friend had the lobster pasta. Both portions were laughably small and the lobster dish was bland; overall nothing special and we both felt we would get a much better dish at any other restaurant. The protein was a short rib, which was too salty, and again, felt like it lacked novelty. Finally was desert, which again was very bread forward with 2 dense brownies for each serving - again, nothing novel, and we could barely swallow it after what felt like such a bready meal as is.Service was okay, I believe our server could tell that we didn’t like the food (we didn’t finish most dishes) and ended up avoiding us in favor of other tables, and it was quite clear we weren’t getting serviced as kindly as other patrons. It also didn’t help they put us at a table right by the door that was constantly open/closing on a 20-degree evening. After a 4-course tasting menu, 1 drink, tax/tip, the meal ended up being $132 just for myself. It was a bit upsetting because I have had truly exquisite Michelin experiences at that price point. Overall, glad I experienced it, but likely will not be returning or recommending.

Lovely and intimate experience in their outdoor greenhouses. Attention to detail and balance with curated and unique taste across all courses. Service oriented and relaxed setting and accommodating for reasonable substitutions. Note: Parking in all of Cambridge is a nightmare (avoid driving if you can).

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!! Particularly given COVID, we feel extremely safe eating in the gorgeous private greenhouses the restaurant offers, which are super romantic. The food is truly some of the best I've had in my entire life. The staff are also incredibly kind and helpful, and are very careful about allergies. I can not recommend this amazing restaurant enough!!!

Wonderful food -- creatively prepared and beautifully presented, very pleasantly served by a great service team. The somm (Danielle) helped us select a very good Barbaresco which matched our menu choices well. We ate outdoors in an "igloo" which was heated. A bit chilly because it was 20 degrees outside, but we were comfortable in our sweaters and jackets.

I made reservations for my anniversary dinner, and I was so excited to go just based off the reviews and Instagram content. MY EXPECTATIONS were EXCEEDED. The chef tasting menu was absolutely divine! They customized our menus celebrating our occasion, which they also let us keep for souvenirs(adding that to my scrapbook lol). I chose to do the wine pairing, and every single glass was absolutely perfectly paired with each course. My boyfriend is normally a picky eater, but he had everything and was mind blown by how fresh and amazing everything was. The plating was impeccable and aesthetically pleasing. We sat in the greenhouse outside for a more intimate setting. The best part was that we had HEATED outdoor seating, which was extremely cozy. They are individually lit, and the candle on the table just really set the vibe. Everything was absolutely romantic! The service was beyond 5 stars!!! I absolutely recommend choosing the greenhouse option for dinner with a significant other. I plan on going back to dine inside, because it literally had a feel of being inside of someone’s cozy home. Special thank you to our server for making it a very comfortable experience. This is such a great team, and the fact that it’s owned by a husband-wife team makes it even more special. I wish I can give you guys a million stars. Thank you for making my first anniversary one to remember!
