Best place to get hearty soups and wraps for lunch in Cambridge.Only had their chicken curry soup so far, but recently took another visit to try some of their wraps for lunch. This time I got the California roll up with chicken tarragon, greek roll up, French onion soup, and the beef chili soup.Chicken tarragon roll up was one of the best wraps I had in years. The portion of the veggies in the wrap was seemingly overwhelming, but it made a perfect balance with the chicken. The creamy tarragon sauce had a distinct flavor profile that made it quite addicting, and its combination with the refreshing chunks of lettuce and tomatoes was amazing. The beef chili and the French onion soup were also great, but not as good as the chicken curry soup which wasn’t available at the time.Highly recommend trying their California roll ups and soups.
Ask them what's the soupe du jour.
Mega cozy sandwich nook. I don't know why but their aesthetic, split pea soup, and sandwiches reminds me of my childhood in a very nostalgic and undescribable way. Also, the prices are great.
Good, warm comfort food. Really nice employees as well
Very affordable lunch location, with many tasty options. I loved the Greek wrap that I have! Also very friendly service!
This place is a local gem! Amazing rotating menu with soups, breakfast rollups, paninis, coffee and more! Some nice window seats as well with a small wrap around bar area on either side of the windowed entrance. Not super upscale but that's a part of it's charm with old photos of Boston adorning the walls (1930s).Very unassuming from the outside but worth walking in and warming up.
1st time got they're chicken soup. Cute small spot. The soup have alot of flavor. But didn't like founding out there was mushroom in it
Everything they make at Souper roll up cafe is fantastic. I would do unspeakable things for the chicken curry soup. The owner is there every time and I'm pretty sure that by your third time in he knows your name and what you're going to order. He treats everyone like a close friend he hasn't seen in a while and it makes the experience even better than it already is.It's popular and tiny. Be prepared to take food with you to go or take a late lunch to avoid the crowd. Either way, go here today and get some soup. Soup nourishes the soul and we could all use a little of that these days.
The Soup tasted like it was sent from the Gods. Oh my, I can't even describe the deliciousness in this Cafe. The salad was so fresh it tasted like I picked the veggies myself The owner is awesome and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Souper Roll Up Cafe!!!
The food here is always delicious and hearty, and the Thai iced teas hit the spot. Soun works the counter most days and he is one of the friendliest people I have ever met...the 'Dad energy' is off the charts. He remembers all of his customers (as far as I can tell) and he goes out of his way to put you in a good mood while you wait (just a few minutes at the most) for your food. You'd barely notice this little shop on Cambridge St. but just walk in and check it out...you'll add it to your list of staple places for lunch after the first time you go. One of the city's hidden gems. PS. They also do breakfast sandwiches!!!
