$15 and I filled the bowl with everything! I got back to my hotel to eat it and simply amazing. Every bite was something new. Very fresh and everything had so much flavor. The ladies were very helpful and had a lot of patience with each customer. Definitely get your monies worth!
I first tried the poke from here a few years ago pre-pandemic and it was excellent. Just returned for takeout for the first time since and it was a disappointment. I made an account online and ordered in the app as the site promised $5 off for doing so, but I couldn’t find the $5 off in my email or anywhere in the app. Pushing through my annoyance I went ahead and ordered anyway—I got a large three protein poke bowl with a variety of toppings. I picked it up, opened it in my car, and alas! So much was missing! My bowl only had 2/3 of the proteins I ordered and paid extra for, and was missing a bunch of the toppings too. And the toppings that were there were a bit scarce. And I really didn’t detect any spice in the spicy tuna and salmon—maybe they gave me the plain. Truly sad for the $17 I paid. I had also asked if there was a fork in the bag that was stapled shut and they said yes, so I left without grabbing one. There was not a fork in the bag.Two stars for decent taste and promptness of preparation.
Loved this place when I was in Boston. Ate here many times. Made it a point to stop by here all the way from overseas after my delayed graduation ceremony last week and unfortunately we had a terrible experience.29 may 2022. Came at 1050am, there was a family inside already. husband and family was told that they were not yet open but they could stay inside if they wanted to use the toilet. Husband said no, so we waited outside.1055am, family decided they wanted to use the toilet. Went in, but now the staff said they were not allowed to use the toilet. Well, the other family had used the toilet, but we couldn't?1058am. Family came back out after trying to unsuccessfully ask to use the toilet. Staff proceeded to close the door on us, and lock the door. Mind you, 11am was supposed to be their opening time. No word of apology or notice of when they might open.1103am. They were still not open. Did not seem like they were opening anytime soon. Went to source restaurant down the road and had MUCH better service.No wishes to use the racism card; but please explain why the caucasian family could use the toilet but our elderly parents could not. Would have helped if your staff explained there and then rather than just turning us away rolling their eyes.
This was the first time I've ever tried this type of food, and I absolutely loved it! The lady was exceptionally kind and patient. She helped me blend all kinds of flavors (spicy salmon, spicy tuna, tofu, avocado ?, sriracha aioli ...), and it tasted wonderful! Can't wait to come back.
This place is beyond horrible. Ordered from Uber, not only missing items for my bowl, but also completely missed my seaweed salad side I paid for. Btw, they’ll give you root beer when you order Diet Coke. Horrible experience.
This review is directed to the customer service, or lack thereof at Pokeworks. The food is solid, prices great.It is truly a shame that you have servers next to Harvard University, one of the elite institutions in the world, who aim to be robots. No enthusiasm or effort to be human---greet, listen, connect. I understand that being a server is not your dream job, but there is no need to show your disgust and hatred for what you do. Moreover, can you please not blast music that features the F and N word? You are next to Harvard University, stop bringing down the class of the neighborhood.
Great fresh ingredients, really good portion and truly tasty. I totally recommend the spot.
Great place for a quick, refreshing bite, not to mention great views! The spicy tuna and salmon were perfect blend for my southern soul. The soda options were pretty stellar and service was great!
delicious. could have better marked what each item was as servers did not speak English that well . a bit pricey but food hit the spot and servers were friendly
FYI you should be more careful about your placement of shellfish. I regularly see shrimp spilling into other proteins. I would be concerned about anyone with shellfish allergies dining here.
