We picked this restaurant from an Eater guide to ramen in Boston at a very last minute and when we walked through the door and saw how drab the decor was, I just about turned around and walked back out. But I trust Eater's recs so we sat down anyway and boy were we in for a treat. Both the ramen and the sushi were absolutely delicious and the fish quality on the sushi was excellent. But the ambience is about as depressing and bare-bones as you can imagine. Nonetheless, we must give credit where it is due and I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick and supremely tasty lunch on a weekday.
Ramens are excellent. We had Tonkotsu and spicy Sesame. Both were great. Less salty than any ramens we had beforeHOWEVER, and this is a big one. The wait is terrible. Wait for table, then once sat down, I kept asking for waters which I didn’t get after the third request. Asking for extra bowls three times. Waiting forever for the check. It’s a 3 men restaurant business. A very small restaurant you have to go through the kitchen to get to smallest restroom you can find anywhereWill I go back? Probably not. Unless I have nothing to do and willing to sit around waiting
I only ever want to eat sushi from here. Best place in Greater Boston. Awesome fresh ingredients prepared to perfection. Amazing taste. Great service, always super nice and attentive. My ubereats order history is exclusively this place. Cute little spot for dining in too!
Great lunch. Nice waitress. Just right enough ramen, nice broth!
It bought my interest in sushi ? ?Never had this delicious sushi before! We tried several different thingsWe ordered “vegetable miso” by reading great reviews about it but none of us found it interesting! But we loved “sweet potato tempura roll”“Shrimp tempura roll” and “Salmon with Sweet Potato Special Roll”Also very hard working and responsive staff
My sister and I come here so much! The sushi and the ramen is amazing. I recommend you get the Tonkotsu Ramen and you can also get the side rice bowl for very cheap and it’s also very good. I also recommend if you go for lunch get the lunch special sushi!! Highly recommend
Beautiful little restaurant in the streets if Boston which provides promising high level authentic Japanese taste... we are from India and we loved sushi here(for veg sweet potato timpura) was delicious. For non veg, salmon was mind blowing... meso bowl was Okey okey.. we totally gonna skip the bowl and just eat lot of sushi next time. Staff was very nice and understanding as we were not sure whT to order and they helped well. It's not a fine dine restaurant but it's definitely fine taste!!! I highly recommend.
Loved it!We decided to give this restaurant a try as wanted to have some ramen and sushi. We were there for early dinner and were happy to see outdoor seating. There was a wait time for 15 minutes for outdoor seating. We happily waited and went through menu till we got seat. Staff was nice and smiling and rushing through to finish the chores. We ordered one veg miso ramen, shrimp tempura (sushi), sweet potato tempura (sushi) and sweet potato salmon rolls (special roll). Oh and one kimchi.Everything was great, miso has a little too much of seaweeds to our liking though. Star of the night were sushi. These are must have. Next we are going to just order sushis and try all other varieties.Special roll we ordered in the end and that was showstopper. This place has made me a sushi fan.And yeah, everything was only 43 bucks.Staff was courteous and listened to our questions patiently.Perfect place for sushi and ramen.
Excellent food and service. The wait staff are a reason to go, that's how good they are. Their raman is a little on the saltier side, but delicious all the same
It was our first time the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Very good sushi… authentic place …nice outside sitting… soya sauce was a bit too salty.
