Super tasty icecream. Got the coffee almond and strawberry icecream and it was amazing. The serving size we got was a mini size yet the quantity was massive.
My husband enjoyed a single scoop of their mint chocolate chip in a bowl. But, I tried a sample of the Coffee and Black Raspberry and wasn't impressed so I didn't get anything.
Really, really good ice cream! Got the cake batter on a waffle cone, and came back the next day for more! All of the flavors I tried were super rich and tasty; the ice cream is thicker than most (which I enjoyed—almost like custard). The shop has very cute decor (perfect for kids!); the employees were kind and helped us decide what flavors we wanted. All came at a good price! There are also cute yellow tables and chairs in the alley across the street that you can use to sit, relax, and enjoy your ice cream!
We have been going here for years. The ice cream and frozen yogurt are without compare. The raspberry chocolate chip and coffee oreo yogurts are addicting. Everything we have ever tried has been excellent and there is no place we would rather go to indulge-
Menu is super confusing everything’s listed in a very unclear way - hot toppings / dry toppings but not a list of what those toppings are!? Also very unclear how many flavours you can fry in each size. And you can’t actually see the ice cream - so you have to decide off the menu which is a bit annoying. They had no hot toppings so I ended up leaving - I’m sure it’s delish.Staff are quite dopey tbh!
We visited Lizzy's on 05/16 on a day trip to the Cambridge/Harvard area. There are a surprising amount of ice cream places, but this hidden gem was definitely the best. The server was very helpful in recommending flavors, toppings, and portion sizes - this definitely helped our impression of the place alongside the delicious ice cream. Wholeheartedly recommend - more people should know about this!
Best ice cream in greater Boston area hands down.Plus, they do the mini size (1 scoop) which is the size that I often want after having a meal and it doesn't make me feel sick after eating it.If I lived near Lizzy's it would be hard to move.
Great soft and hard ice cream in Harvard square. lots of flavors with mini and kiddie sizes. Prices are reasonable.
This ice cream is my all time favorite in Boston. I introduced my mom to it and every time she visits from Jamaica she makes us walk there to get her favorite flavor grape nut and this is even in the winter. It says a lot about someones ice cream if someone from a tropical climate will brave the cold in Boston for your ice-cream. If you don't like your ice cream to be unnecessarily sweet but just the perfect amount of sweet this is the place for you. Great ingredients and the quality never disappoints.
I was impressed for the ice cream of this shop at the first try. If everybody doesn’t like too much sweet, I think it is a good choice. Let’s try!!!
