Quick and reliable pho spot in Harvard Square to satisfy a craving.
If you're craving for a big bowl of Pho in the middle of the New England winter, you can't go wrong at Le's. Located in the ground floor of a shopping arcade in the middle of Harvard Square, it's an affordable place for Vietnamese comfort food (pho, banh mi and pork chop rice). It's family friendly (lots of families with small kids when we last visited for a gathering with a group of friends).
Food is good and fast but the waiters were really pushy with ordering/paying/getting us out quickly even though there were plenty of empty tables and they weren’t closed. Not the best place for catching up with friends but good for a quick meal.
My favorite restaurant in Harvard Square. Good pad thai. Great pho. I enjoy a new dish every time I go.
I'm guessing Le's gets 4 stars average cuz of all tourist who come to Cambridge. Fried spring roll is not freshly made, waiter literally brought it out 2 minutes after ordering, reheated, not even warm. Pork chop decent: should really close up shop if they can't even get pork chop right. Leftover spring roll was boxed up with leftover Beef Asparagus, who does that? spring roll becomes all soggy.
I love Le's! The service is so fast and their Thai iced tea is amazing. I've gone there with three different people and they've all enjoyed their meals. The perfect Vietnamese place for when you want a sit-down meal but don't want to be waiting around for 2 hours. And the prices are really reasonable for Harvard Square (about $14-$24 for most dishes). Highly recommend!
Food and the price were good, but the service from waiters were not.
We had been looking for another good local Vietnamese place ever since our favorite in Waltham closed years ago. So we tried Le's the other night and were mildly disappointed. Not that the food was bad, just not all that good either. Our spring rolls were not hot enough. Everything else came out piping hot. Go figure. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly. We will keep looking.
I love Le's. There were a countless number of days when I skipped dinner due to classes/lab. I always ate Phó to heal my soul and continue on for the night. The soup tastes great everytime I go with plenty of tripe (my favorite). I hope they stay in Harvard Square beyond my graduation for all Asian-food loving people to enjoy. Only reason for my 4 star is due to bloated noodles perhaps due to the late hours.
Big fan—good pho broth, lots of options, an very generous with the meat. Perfect for quick dinners with friends after sports or any casual meal. Service and food come very fast. Big fan!
