We originally went for the $1 oysters but decided to split the spicy wings and a burger too! Everything was perfect and so delicious! Will definitely be back!
First time back after covid and Grafton Street moved to its new location on JFK Street! We were there for weekend brunch and the outdoor seating was comfortable outside. I was so thrilled to see Paul, the bartender, who treated us so well and really made the meal a special occasion for me and my wife! The food was absolutely delicious too - the Red Line was just what we wanted and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!
We went for a birthday brunch and everything was delicious. The Bloody Mary & Negroni were delicious, try the chicken wings, sooo good. The Fish & Chips was a very generous portion, the Matcha Soufflé pancake was beautiful and delicious and the Gem Salad and burger were too. We all enjoyed everything and our server suggested the Key Lime Pie and it did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic, our Server Tito just added to the day, he was built in entertainment and the new location is so convenient with the garage right there! Weâll be back!
Had an absolutely lovely time for brunch today with Bella as our server. Food was excellent and service was attentive, super friendly, and very professional. The desserts were particularly impressive, we had the mousse and the key lime pie and both were outstanding. Finally, the ambience and the location itself are beautiful and expertly decorated. Such a stunning place to sit and eat.
Really excellent meal, service and ambience (again). :-)
I was in town for Boston Calling and came across Grafton Street Pub and Grill. We went in to have a drink before going to the concert and we met Paul. He is absolutely the most amazingly friendly and personable person I met on my trip. We had so much fun with him that we went back again to see him. As I sat at the bar the second time he not only recognized me but he also remembered our names and what we liked to drink. He is a true gem! I will definitely go back to visit him again. Thank you for your hospitality Paul!! Love, Jean and Jorge.
Grafton Street Pub has moved from small quarters on Grafton St. to larger accommodations on JFK St and larger is much better in this case. The ambiance might be called distinguished pub. The menu is quite limited, but that seems to enable the chef to make each item good quality and to keep prices exceptionally reasonable. It's popular with the Harvard crowd, so it's not quiet, but overall an excellent lunch or dinner experience at modest cost.
We sat outside on patio which is below street level so not very scenic. But was quiet on a cool evening. Our server was great and the food okay. I had oysters which should not be described as fried and there were 4 I was told it would be five. Read description before ordering as very small app and served on there shell with a tasting sauce.. wine selection is good but a bit expensive.
Although the restaurant was mostly empty, the service was painful.
We have enjoyed our meals at Grafton Street in the past, so we were eager to make our first visit since they moved to their new location in Harvard Square. The atmosphere in the new place is more "bar serving food" than "restaurant with bar," and the menu is accordingly less interesting. And yes, it was our mistake to go on a weekend when there was a music festival nearby, which obviously affected the service; but when all you are serving is beer and wine because the bartenders don't have time to mix cocktails, it's remarkable that it would take ~20 minutes to get a glass of beer and a glass of wine to the table.
