3.5 ☆ Nice place. Strong pours. Food was good. Smallish portion sizes. Not slow. Unfriendly, well, maybe "unwelcoming" service. With apps, drinks and bottle of wine, still only $75 per person. Tip added automatically to bill for 6 ppl. There are so many other options for Italian fare, good food and unpleasant service won't bring me back for seconds.

Wow just wow. We went twice in 1 month. Second time we had 1 of each pasta on the menu (we were 3 but it was enough food for 5). They are outstanding. Favorite ones are the mafaldine and the parsnip agnoloti. Least favorite (although still amazing) is the campanelle amatriciana. The zeppole dessert (pistachio whip cream not ricotta) was a special on the menu which was definitely worth it. The tiramisu had a nice delicious alcohol twist to it. The chestnut and golden raisin cheesecake was forgetful however. I think the flavor profile could pack a bigger punch. One of the best restaurant in a long time. Cant wait for their new pasta menu!

Amazing food and service! Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the whole menu, we loved it! She gave us great recommendations. And again, the food is AMAZING! so flavorful, delicious.Loved it!

This chef Anthony Susi’s new restaurant features contemporary Italian cuisines that are masterfully executed in every aspect.Located in a neighborhood that is still developing, Geppetto offers a fantastic dining experience that will make your trip worth it. I recently had the pleasure of making my first visit, and everything we ordered was excellent. From the appetizers, fried mozzarella and the braided garlic bread were the highlights. Yet, the beef carpaccio was also great as the fried caper garnish added a unique flavor that nicely complemented to the greasiness of the beef. As expected, the textures of the cavatelli and the mafaldine were also truly mindblowing. The most undermining dish of the meal was the pork Milanese which was essentially a pork cutlet, but it was still delicious.Overall, a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood, but make sure to get a reservation at least a week ahead.

This was one of the best meals we've had in the Boston area in recent memory. The appetizers really set the tone for the meal. The fried mozzarella was a work of art and the braided garlic bread was so incredibly different and delicious. The pasta dishes were excellent and the portion sizes were just right. We had the gelato for dessert and it was the perfect way to end the meal. We will absolutely be back.

Go here! This is a restaurant that you will walk away from satisfied.Everything was great (service, food, atmosphere). The food is always the most important aspect and the chefs here are talented. Fresh, house-made, unique elements in every course. The menu is comforting and relatable while still being interesting! We had the negroni and espresso martini, fried mozzarella, mushroom agnolotti, ribeye, and miso tiramisu. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu and we will be back to try!The tiramisu is especially unique and delicious so save room. The presentation is incredible.Go here for date night!

Good food pricy though. The potatoes focaccia is good but too much expensive for $9 and a small piece (serves 2). Other appetizers are good but again small and expensive. Main course ribeye …. Good tender meat … cooked in the right way… intended to be shared but small for 2. Finished with affogato….Bottom line: give it a try… nice new location (please keep the heat higher … it was too cold). Something new from the boston flatness food experience. Price vs quantity to improve. Guest host experience to improve…. Lot of potential if they are smart or could be a big failure.

Geppetto is absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing- especially their specialty breads and pastas. We’ve tried over half of the menu and every single dish was tasty and filling and beautifully plated. While they don’t have a full bar, their on-draft cocktails are mixed to perfection and the wine list has plenty of delicious options. The staff could not be better- they are all so kind and friendly and incredibly attentive, and they do an amazing job at remember people even months later!Aesthetically, Geppetto feels lux but still cozy and inviting. The decor and vibe is perfect. Great for a date night or a small group to enjoy a delightful meal!

Ask for Sarah. She is amazing. The breads are wonderful. The entire meal and experience was excellent. Try to go early as it tends to get very loud.

Great food! We got take out and it was awesome! Chicken parm was great and so was the kale pesto malfadine.
