To me this is the quintessential late night spot in the area. Everything is on point. The flavors and options are amazing. The idea of just having a massive kitchen in the middle of a huge building brings some much energy to the spot. Then the throughput is just astonishing, how many people they give give quality food to is fun to watch. I'm not gonna bash the other local chains but this is the one, no questions asked.
First the bad: We ordered several items for delivery and the order delivered was missing a taco. Also, we were staying in a hotel (which we noted on the order) and no utensils came with food that clearly needed utensils. Finally, getting a refund for the missing food required us to call the restaurant; the heavily-tipped delivery person could not facilitate that. The good is the food. All delicious. Good pork tamale, excellent haddock taco, delicious cheese dip. Tortillas were a little heavier than we like but everything was pretty darn good. The highlight was the fish taco.
Horrible experience trying to set up a group event for 20 people here. Don't even try to set up a group event or reservation here - it is not worth the time and frustration. They require a $30 per person min spend (plus tax and gratuity), their events coordinator takes a very long time to respond to each email, they "aren't set up for reservations", and they are generally unhelpful and unwilling to make things work out unless you'll be throwing around thousands of dollars, even on a weeknight.
Excellent food & drinks in an upscale version of your favorite taco bar. Very busy, so it keeps moving, and the food was nice and fresh. Well worth it for a quick bite in Harvard Square.
A bit pricy. Quality of meat is great but not amazing. Taco felt like it was missing something but it was still tasty. The vibe of the restaurant is fast paced and I like how it’s chipotle style
The efficiency of the line was 5/5, there was a line all the way to the door and it still only took about ten minutes to get our food and sit down. I had the tacos which were delicious, I will say the beef is a little fatty/gristly but tasted amazing! Will definitely return ?
Decent and cheap Mexican food. Burrito was pretty good but a bit on the salty side. The tamale was a bit bland overall. The tortilla chips were nice
Amazing foods and the foods came out so fast. Nice frozen margarita as well!
this is actually the best mexican restaurant i have ever been in this universe, also during my life time. after eating at this place, i cannot go back to chipotle or any other mexican restaurant, cuz they taste so bad after vising this place. this place is a must visit when you visit harvard square. I am not smart enough to go to harvard, but if i knew i could have this taco and burrito every day, i would have studied so hard to try to go to harvard
The place is huge and the ambience is pretty good. However, I felt that the fast casual self-service style food ordering doesn't work for them well. There's a huge counter and a glass between you and the server, and even on a Tuesday night they won't be able to hear your instructions. The food was okay, not really up to my expectations from this place.
