Great food, cute atmosphere, could have a cleaner bathroom and some of the furniture is worn or broken, but enjoyed nonetheless!
Love it here for cheap burgers and beer. Was an off visit this time as service took 1.5 hours to wait on us. Understanding that most places are short staffed, and it seemed some waiters were being trained while there. This time we sat on the outside and wait time was much longer than visits past (I love nearby and am usually there once a season). Seemed to be the newer wait staff as kitchen had dinner out in 10 or so. Just be aware of peak nights .
The service and the food were so much better than expected This is an old place not frou frou or upscale but our waiter was great and the food was delicious
Such a special place. The lighting is magical, and the vibe is very retro. Burgers were delicious. Loved it!!!

One of the best remaining dives in Cambridge, they have live shows on Monday, a fun kitcshy atmosphere, karaoke on some nights and a pretty decent burger. None of the food is incredible but it will fill you up at a reasonable price. They have a great beer garden in the warmer months too.
We had such a good time here! The atmosphere was great once more people came in and sat at the bar. Get a draft beer and the short rib grilled cheese--definitely a unique item that I haven't seen anywhere else. Add some tobasco sauce and *chef's kiss*
Went for lunch today. Great, dive-y atmosphere, though you can tell it's more of a 'late night' spot for drinks. Had the bacon and blue cheese burger. It was a solid burger. 2 small patties, nicely grilled. Not very seasoned. It was an okay burger for an okay price (12 dollars in Cambridge for a solidly sized burger isn't bad), and the fries were okay too, though did remind me of McDonald's. Burger didn't come with sauce/mayo, and wasn't dripping with juices to really justify it not. But, once again, I'm a cheap college student. You get what you pay for, and Charlie's Kitchen is servicable for the price.
The atmosphere was awesome! We all loved our burgers and apps. Drinks were awesome! HIGHLY recommend.
The best onion rings I have ever had. Hands down! (They are the fat/thick ones~ btw not my favorite). I have been by this place numerous times on my bus ride to work over the past 2 years. Finally made my way in there this afternoon with a friend. Exceptional service from the male bartender and the I was extremely impressed with the onion rings. Which leads me to believe that all there fried food is awesome! I am really looking forward to going back and trying one the burgers and grilled cheeses. (A guy next to me got the BBQ rib grilled cheese~ OMG looked and smelled amazing ((he finished the entire thing)) I only wish I had left a bigger tip!!! Thank you Charlie's Kitchen! In my humble a opinion ~ a true hole in the wall~ great prices and fantastic service! ?? love it! ❤️ (think of a VFW~ and that's a huge compliment from my point of view!)
