This was our first time dining at Chalawan. We were celebrating our anniversary. The food was just excellent. It tasted so fresh and the flavors were so bright and distinct. We love spicy food and the dishes we ordered both had a lovely âkickâ. Service was excellent and the space is very nice. We will be back!

Honestly, not that great. Scallops were great, but everything else we had was mediocre.
Wonderful menu options- especially gluten free!. We shared many seafood appetizers & members of our party raved about duck, beef cheeks & soft shell crab choices. Great service, very attentive. Appreciated the well selected beer & wine/ bar too! Highly recommended âºï¸

The service was OUTSTANDING. I recommend birthday celebrations, the appetizers were the perfect portion size and super flavorful. I had never tried Indonesian food previously and was blown away by the lamb shank and beef cheeks. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
