We were delighted with our experience at Casa Portugal. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to dessert. The wine selection was quite reasonable, with many options of vinho verde available. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. If you are around the Cambridge area, this is a great option for dinner or a vast Sunday lunch.

We went there on our visit to Boston. We chose them because the dinner menu had the items we wanted to try. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Quaint little place, bright and cheerful. We tried the Bacalhau á braz (cod fish with eggs, potatoes and onions) and Febras de porco grelhadas (grilled scalloped pork with spicy garlic sauce) We also ordered a pitcher of sangria. The food was very fresh and delicious. Of the 2 the pork was the winner! The sauce on it was awesome. Not spicy hot but spicy delicious. The sangria was filled with fruit and very good.Waitress was friendly. Place was very clean. We would go there again.

Each time I visit The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The server was very attentive and we had a great time.

I went on a date with my husband and it was ruined with bad customer service. The waiter was so rude. First he didn’t say greet us then followed by throwing some dry, stale bread on dirty table. Spoke to another waiter and asked if our waiter had an issue with us being there and simply replied don’t worry that’s how he is. Really?! Then asked if another waiter can assist and as she’s asking us what we wanted to drink, my husband asked for Porto wine and she was very condescending, that there’s different kinds. Please as a waiter it’s your responsibility to educate your customers. Waiters really need to be trained in customer service. They won’t be seeing my money for sure.

Restaurants like these are my favorite hidden gems. They had plenty of seafood choices, and everything was fresh. Nothing disappointed. The white sauce on the seafood platter was perfect.

Polite and attentive service. The menu was above average. The rest of my family ate more traditional breakfast dishes. I'd like to go back to try out the lunch or dinner menu!

Great seafood. Authentic Portuguese cuisine. Highly recommended by Portuguese friends. My wife got a daily special of octopus. I got a pot of seafood: fish, clams, mussels, octopus, squid, and shrimp. It was delicious. We will definitely come back to this restaurant when we are in town again. This will be a destination place for us now.

A really great neighborhood spot. Food and wine are good and affordable. Very cozy interior and comforting food. Felt like I could have been eating food from a friend’s kitchen. We did not have a reservation, but we were able to get a table for 4 after about a 20min wait. Definitely recommend for a local relaxing dinner on a Friday.

Authentic, delicious Portuguese food and wine for very reasonable prices. Loved the sausage presented over an open flame, and the octopus was as tender as butter. Exceeded our expectations.

Amazing service and amazing food one of the best bife a portuguesa I’ve had in my life
