I asked for a flat white but they suggested their cappuccino as the equivalent of a flat white because they pull a ristretto shot and add more microfoam than is typical for a cappuccino. It was delicious!Simple spare interior with a bunch of individual sit stations and a few tables for two or three. Often crowded with Harvard students during the school year.
The open bar where you can the baristas' work flow is quite nice -- the hojicha latte was more watery and less strong as I would have liked, and felt a bit more expensive than what it's worth.

Blue Bottle is my #1 coffee shop! The Harvard Square location is in a quieter area on an un-assuming little corner. The space is clean and well-lit with gentle lighting and a great place to study or read. Highly recommend the New Orleans Coldbrew - smooth, slightly sweet, and always good (even on a winter day)! The only downside is the (16 Oz. for $6), so definitely a "treat myself," (at least for me), but always worth it!

The regular coffee is really NOT worth $5.50. The quality is very mediocre. You get better coffee at lower prices at many coffee shops nearby.
Egregiously and inordinately expensive, but one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a long time. The people here are very well trained. Good if not great service and very clean. I came on a Tuesday and it was insanely crowded. I won't be frequenting this place because of the ludicrous prices, but when you deserve an exceptional cup of coffee this is the place to go.
i got avocado toast and a snickerdoodle drink which the cashier said was good and it was so good i came back the next day to get it again! thank u cashier girl!
