Love the family style of dishes served. The spices and flavors are so yummy but unique. We ordered garlic butter naan, broccoli, green beans and Mo Mo chicken dumplings to start with. Then shrimp stirfry, grill salmon n chicken stir fry noodle. We can’t take too spicy food so we gave the waitress number 4 for our tolerance of hotness n it was still slightly above our tolerance. But drinking lots of ice water helped. Will definitely go back.
Great food and service. We got the chicken korma and tikka masala and they were some of the best I've ever had.
Definitely a place to at least try once. The food was good but not amazing, but they have some options that aren't even available at other Nepalese restaurants. Some of the items I also found to be a little too sweet, although that's just my personal taste.
Second time here, unbelievable. Order at least a 5 out of 10 on the spice "heat" scale and experience the food high. If you know you know. Stand out Chicken Korma with Naan, the best I've ever had. Mix in the local Cambridge Pilsner and some unfiltered Cider and thank me later.

The shrimp and veggie stir fried noodles were great. Chose level 7 for spiciness and it was hot and loved it! Vegetable momos were great as well. Overall, one of the best Nepalese food I have ever had in the US!
Simple place, bare tables, not crowded at all, really nice staff, while on business travel drove a good distance special for the gundruk soup which has a unique flavor all to itself and is a must have. Shrimp chilies tasted good. I said heat level of 5 but it wasn't very hot at all. Nepalese food is rare to find and always a good choice for a flavor twist. Thumbs up, give this place a try.
Another consistently excellent dinner at Base Crave! We ordered veggie momos, chicken mushroom curry, chicken momo curry, and stir fry noodles with tofu. Portions are very generous. Why this place isn’t crazy packed all the time is beyond me… it’s easily once of the best restaurants (foodwise) in Boston. It’s my go to spot whenever someone is in town visiting.
Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I were running errands and stopped here for lunch! We were both blown away at how delicious the meal was, the reviews aren’t lying. I had the chicken tikka masala with garlic butter naan on the side and he had the chicken and mushroom curry. Both meals were impeccably spiced with different levels for different folks. The spice isn’t overwhelming and compliments the dishes well. The chai tea was also delicious and served steaming hot. The garlic naan seems to be made in house and served sliced into bite size pieces for easier eating.The attention to detail in the food is definitely something that I look for when dining out and they truly have a fantastic chef and menu.
