In my opinion some of the best pizza in the area
This is one of those rare gems you find tucked away in a little neighborhood a little off the beaten path but right next to the bus stop. This family owned restaurant has been around for 51 years! Armando passed the place down to his daughter and you will often find her son Mike (see photo) behind the counter making the pizzas and subs. If you dine in you might be surprised at how many people he knows on a first name basis. But unlike so many local places you will feel like family even if you are from out of town or even out of state! We had the Sicilian pizza and it was a perfect balance between thick crust and yet still had that crispy crust. The chicken parmesan sandwich was also a hit providing not just dinner but lunch the next day because it was so big! We also had the classic Italian sub, antipasto, and the pasta fagioli soup. Go prepared they only take cash but they do have an ATM machine on-site if you forget.
The best pizza thin or Sicilian. I keep going back every week. The food is so good and Mike and others are so kind. Great service! You got to go! Wanted to find a way to have catering done for graduation party.
The real deal! Boys all rated this 10/10, and they are tough pizza critics. Make sure you bring cash - no cards accepted here as of end of 2021. Saw some people leave when they didn't have cash. Bummer they missed out...

First time at Armando's today and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I got a cheeseburger sub and really liked it. I'l be back!!
I grew up a few blocks away from Armando's in the 80s and 90s, then moved away for a bit. Now married, my wife and I moved three blocks away in the other direction, and the FIRST night we were back, jetlagged and anxious, with no furniture or anything, I told her that we need to get a pizza from Armando's. It is still so freakin' good! Doesn't taste any different than it did when I was 12 years old, and that's a good thing!In this day and age when you can't count on a spot to maintain their flavors, and quality, Armando's is a gem. Would definitely recommend to all.

Absolutely fabulous- came to BOS for a week for work; stopped by Armando's last night because of high rating. The guys went above and beyond expectation. I ordered a little less crispy; it was perfect. Sauce is straight out of Italy. Exceptional service. Can't wait to come back and support this place more!!! Thank you!!!
