Continues to deliver the best and freshest burritos, I've tried half a dozen other places out of curiosity if I could find better.Following up on recommendations... blah blah... don't waste your time...just go to Anna's super burritos all day... good rice, tender wraps, fresh veggies and meat, and the beans don't taste like someone just popped open a can and dumped it into a warmer. Healthy meal to go Stat!Oh and they know how to properly wrap so you're not fighting with a burrito mess!
If i could give 0 stars i would! The WORST experience I've ever had. The manager(Julio) was a prime example of someone that should NOT be working in the food business, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I placed an online pick up order and when i went to go pick it up I was told by the manager that my order had already been picked up which makes no sense. Out of confusion and to make sure we were on the same page i showed him my order in detail in which he confirmed he gave it away. Now at this point it should be obvious that if I'm here to pick it up and you gave it away then you gave it to the wrong customer...and the right thing to do would be to remake my order BUT that is not what happened, instead Julio said if I wanted my order I would need to re-order & re-pay which is absurd!!!! In my opinion Julio should be fired!
I've had dozens if not hundreds of items here over the years and it's always excellent: good, filling Tex-Mex classics like burritos and quesadillas. The chile verde is very spicy, which I love, and the carnitas are excellent. Steak also. Everything is good, those three are just my favorites. Quick and inexpensive (for Boston). Can't go wrong here.
This is usually one of my favorite Anna's in the whole Boston area. It used to be my favorite for service quality and consistency of food and speed. I haven't been there in a couple months and was craving it so I made the ride about 20 minutes over. I went in waited in line for 20 minutes it was busy a Friday night, no worries I get up to the front of the line and the employee yells at me in Spanish which I found out from another customer that no mask no service. The mass law literally just got lifted in every single town and surrounding stores. I said I don't understand what you're saying they repeated it again in Spanish when the nice customer next to me told me what they said. I said I'm sorry I don't have one where the employee who I've seen many times and is usually really nice again persisted to yell at me in Spanish that they weren't going to serve me. Thankfully the customer next to me spoke back to them in Spanish and somehow talk them into serving me which I think is absolutely ridiculous. They then ignored my order served five people after me and after the five people finally handed me a mask. honestly totally unnecessary and I will never be going back there again. You guys just lost a regular customer after 10 years because you're rude. Unacceptable do not go there
I went into the store and waited for my turn. I chose my plate. When I was surprised by a woman touching me from the store, a mask was mandatory. I put my shirt over my face. She refused to answer. She touched me from the store. Respect is everything. For this very reasonable reason I refuse to praise the points I have observed. I hope no one suffers the embarrassment I went through. It had several customers. That's unfortunate. If all goes well, Anna's will never see my money again and if possible from anyone I know. Sorry ?.
Anna's is always a Go-To. You can't go wrong. From the steamed tortilla and cheese, to the extensive fixings, it's always a burrito that satisfies. P.s. need a little something to go along with your burrito? Do a mini quesadilla with salsa. Da bomb! Traditional burrito spot.
We love Annas. Usual go to is the carnitas burrito but also recently tried the salad bowl and it was really great too.
Worst veggie burrito bowls in the history of veggie burrito bowls. It was so bad that even if someone is ready to pay for me, I wouldn't eat it.
Soft shell tacos normally taste fresh, flavorful, and very homey (in a way). This felt as though, it was being rushed. I got it in under 3 minutes. Not complaining about the time, truly. The best thing in this was the Guacamole. I think it was very well balanced with the lime and onion. Everything else felt very bland…
Maybe I forgot how to order what I used to eat almost every week some 20 years ago, but after all that time, my burrito didn't quite hit me the way it used to. Too much time passed? The cheese or beans are different? I just don't know. Still, delicious, but something's changed.
