I absolutely LOVE LOVE Alive and Kicking Lobsters. I lived in Boston for almost a year and I frequented this place at least 4 times the last few weeks of my stay. The lobsters tray is amazing. The lobstera are not the biggest but the meat is so tender, flavorful and buttery~I could die reminiscing! The Lobster roll OMG to die for. Everything I've ever ordered from this place was delicious. Their inside sitting area is cold even with the heater in the chilly months and their outside sitting area in the warmer months is great but there'salways the option of a take out. It's pretty much a hole in the wall that anyone who happens to visit Boston should really know and visit. It's very casual but the seafood is amazing. I can't wait to go back to Boston where I know my first stop will be at Alive and Kicking Lobsters. I'm drooling writing this review. Definitely highly recommend and a 5 ? from me and my family.Pictures attached are from the place where we ordered to go and ate at the place we stayed. Have fun and enjoy!!

Best Lobster Bisque I've had outside of Maine. Steamers and coleslaw were good too.

This is a nice place for stopping by and grab a local dish. I love the chewy texture of the lobster! The sandwich outside is warm and a little bit crunchy. We ordered clam chowder and I think the size is okay for two people to share. Lobsters are not cheap but I think the dish worth the price! I will recommend to anyone who goes there.

This is cheaper than the Yankee’s, but this doesn’t open at night and has less romantic vibe. Alive & Kick Lobster is a true place for eating lobster in Boston.

Excellent lobster sandwich for those who want to taste the lobster! The price was higher than expected ($29.95) but the amount of lobster exceeded my expectations. It comes with a bag of chips and wrapped in foil. Would recommend for a no-frills lunch when the weather is nice outside.

Lobster roll one of the best I ever had. Mussels fresh, and fries were good. No indoor dining, just some plastic tables outside. No need to dress up! Maybe some parking, but then you would have to park next to what I assume is the owner's car and lobster traps. Totally local dive and it was delicious. Take out is a must if you want room to eat.

I went here fully understanding the price of lobster. Your lobster sandwich is just mediocre. Yes lobster is high but you can offer more than just white bread… this place could be a hidden gem. Also I found the FAQ on the fridge case to be sarcastic without being funny.

Lobster sandwich may not be in a whole piece, but it comes in chunky bites of different size. The flavor was refreshing and lobster was nice and "bouncy".Clam Chowder does not have big chunky clam bits but, it's mostly cut into smaller piece. The soup does have a very strong seafood saltiness to it. It's nice, but a pity there wasnt biggee chunks of clams. The soup also lean towards more on the watery side than a thick Boston Clam Chowder that was known for.Nonetheless a weirdly good experience with the food.

Who wants a hot dog roll? Not me. Who wants some fancy place? Not me. I want great lobster and this is the real damn deal. I go at least once a month. it's a total treat and people that work there are awesome.

Best lobster place with a reasonable price. Amazing lobster sandwich! They raised their price regularly, so we always grab their gift cards at least one day ahead of our visit to save some bucks :)
