I went a month or two ago and had a pleasant experience. I wish the bar was bigger and had a more exciting vibe, but the chicken fajitas were *amazing* and Mackenzie was such a good bartender. She was friendly, and considerately made me a peach margarita even though it wasn't on the menu. It was probably one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The other bartender was also quite attentive, but I cannot remember her name!
Large restaurant with ample space to do hand stands if needed. I wouldn't recommend doing hand stands in the restaurant, however, I felt it was important to add for reference on the large space. If you wanted to do hand stands you definitely could.
We celebrated my husband's birthday here a few weeks ago! Great food and great staff definitely would recommend and go back again!
The service was very good. Julia was our server, and she was attentive, prompt and friendly. The food, though. Nope. Big miss. It all looked really yummy… I was really hoping…but it just was not good. At all. Bland taquitos and worse than bland fish tacos.
Amazing atmosphere and decor, more high end than any other nearby Mexican restaurants. Serious tequila selection. Food was good, nice quality and presentation. Server was attentive and friendly. Support staff are quick and professional. Highly recommend the restaurant, the margaritas and the taquitos!!
My husband and I ordered take out tonight to try this restaurant for the first time and we were very disappointed. For the price the food was not very good. We had asked on the phone for one minor substitute for a menu item and they wouldn’t accommodate. Got two orders of queso, one with chorizo and one without and upon opening the container there was an entire level of oil on both that was unsettling. Food was blah … not impressed and wouldn’t go back.
This place is a goto upscale Mexican restaurant. The empanadas are filled with beef short-rib with some cheese. I love how these come with a yellowish dough. The chips are good with a warm bean dip, spicy salsa and a green sweet salsa. The plates are large and plenty of food. The shrimp and beef is great! Love the desserts too, but often can't get to them.
The restaurant looks very nice. The service was mediocre. The server was preoccupied and lacked attention. He never came back to check if I liked the food or wanted another drink or anything for that matter. The food was mediocre and just ok, I ordered the shrimp with garlic, so so, the tortilla soup was not that good, not home made at all. The alcoholic drink was a nice heavy pour. I'm from San Diego and know what Mexican food should be. I will pass on this as a one time visit.
our family is very picky when it comes to mexican cuisine- this place will not and did not disappoint. I recommend the enchiladas con mole. The chef made a carne asada special to my spouses request that was not on the menu. Fantastic.
