So I read the reviews and thought lets give it a try as I am traveling NYC really hard to get good halal options . I order chicken wings and Fries both were fries in Old oil thats has the worst smell and than blood all over the wings. In what world chicken has blood if its halal. ???? never coming back not recommending
The chicken on rice with white sauce and hot sauce was awesome! It was ready in a minute and was eaten in less than five. Next time, I will call ahead and order their Kofta kebab, which takes 15 minutes to make on the grill. The staff was friendly and the interior was very clean. The prices are quite reasonable (read affordable) too!
Quick Summary: First time customer and exceptionally pleased with the chicken and rice. We also got the beef and lamb gyro, but it was not as flavorful as the chicken over rice.Food Review: The rice was cooked perfectly and I think possibly cooked in some broth due to the flavor and slight color. The chicken was cut into tiny pieces that perfectly soaked up both the white and red sauce. There was good amount of spice from the red sauce. The small salad adds crunchiness and the red onion complements the whole dish as a whole.Customer Service: The customer service was good even though there was a bit of a wait and small seating section (guessing that is due to COVID protocols though). I could see all the staff working their hardest and they were polite with everyone, even a difficult customer.In Close: Good portion for the price. A hidden gem! I will be back and will recommend to friends and family!!
The food is good but after placing a large order of nearly $100, the only request was to pack the salad separately. This was because we were meeting up with family and eating later so we wanted to microwave. The owner would not agree to make this marginal request.12/27/2021:Thank you for your response. When we one buys 5 platters and 4 gyros the easy this to do it add a 6th container for the salad. Hopefully you will consider next time.
what a great place!! i forget her name sadly but the lovely lady who works at the register is so kind and friendly, greets me with a smile and even knows my name and order. would much rather come to a family establishment than a chain restaurant any day. the food is amazing and absolutely delicious 10/10 highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t come here yet
Halal Eatz is beyond delicious, I can't say how happy I am that we have a place so close by for delicious halal food. It is by far our new go-to place. The chicken/beef/lamb & rice are all so flavorful I never want to get anything else. Their gyros and falafel are so fresh and light tasting I could eat it every day and not get bored. Such delicious food (and good amount!) for such a great price can't ask for anything more in our town!
Not as good as Halal Bros of Austin, TX but comparable with Halal Guys. Look, the food overall was good but I thought it was a tad too salty. Chicken over rice. I was transiting through the Boston area so I cannot comment if it's the norm or an abberation. Prices are perhaps Boston- priced (meaning a bit overpriced for outside Boston visitors). Doordash available.
I ordered Falafel over rice and did not liked it. Hot sauce test like sweet sauce and watery. over all entire platter had no test.
Delicious #halal food! Really enjoyed the cheese steak, burgers, chicken/gyro on rice and loaded fries. Big portions, tasty and right level of spice. Will definitely be back for more
Literally the best Philly cheese steak sub that I ever had. It's very difficult to find halal places and I have to admit, this place has it all! Would highly recommend to anyone!
