Café Escadrille is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the Burlington area. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to bring my parents who are celebrating their 52nd Wedding Anniversary! The food is always phenomenal and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Canât wait to return and wouldnât hesitate to recommend to anyoneð
Weâve been coming here for years and the quality has not changed one bit
My husband and I thought weâd treat ourselves. We got a 6:15 reservation we sat & we were totally ignored for about 12-15 minutes. We ordered our appetizers baked Brie it was good. Then we ordered our main course Prime rib . Itâs 7 by now & they ran out. Next we ordered rack of lamb. Waited about 27 minutes for it & itâs well done we ordered it medium rare. Fine, they took it back. After another 20 minutes it comes out . Itâs still not done right but we keep it because we just want it get the hell out of there. This one is rare like raw in the middle!!! We pack more than 1/2 of it to throw out at home. The manager did come over but honestly it was too little too late. Our waitress Ana was not good at all. She didnât know the menu, was inattentive & honestly she couldnât have cared less. $131.00 & a $30.00 tip & it wasnât worth any of it. Always loved the Escadrille but not anymore!
Exceptional food and service always
Our reservation for 4 was seated promptly at a very comfortable table in a quiet part of the restaurant. Our server introduced herself pleasantly and gave us a few minutes to gather ourselves. Service was excellent, food was very well prepared and desert was enjoyed .
Cafe Escadrille never disappoints. It doesn't matter the night of the week or time of day, Cafe Escadrille is on point. We have been there for both lunch and dinner. We were there this past Monday evening and had wonderful meals. My husband had the prime rib cooked to perfection. I had Lobster Savannah which is a three pound lobster. whose meat has been extracted and cooked with peppers, bread crumbs and a sauce and is placed back in the shell. It is now on the menu but for many months it was not. The kitchen always prepared it for me upon request. There is an extensive wine list, as well. This is still a gem among the many newer restaurants in Burlington!!
Food was delicious and our waitress, Susan, could not have been any better. Food was prepared as requested and all timed perfectly.
We started with the Clam Chowder/Oysters Rockefeller/Calamari. All were outstanding as usual. For our mains I had the Halibut..one of the best I've had in a few years. Just Perfect. Richard had the Rack of Lamb, which he loved. Sharon had the Dragon roll, which she said was excellent. Andrew took excellent care of us as he frequently does. Overall, just a perfect evening!
Our server Grace was friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions that we had about the menu. Everyone enjoyed their food- prime rib, duck, veal Catherine and duo. Food was cooked well and tasty. The duck and prime rib were large portions that went home w/ us. Enjoyed.
We were back in New England and wanted a great restaurant to meet up with the nephew and his girlfriend. Cafe Escadrille provided us a quiet place, great food and excellent service. The sushi here is awesome. I highly recommend it for a wonderful night out.
