The food here is delicious. The waitress was rushing us to order. When she said she'll give us some time to order since we had just say down, she grab out drinks and kept asking if we were ready. Other than that, the food made up for it.
Went there for the soup dumplings and Dan Dan noodles, but apparently they don't offer the soup dumplings anymore. Then asked for the ginger scallion lobster but they said sorry not available either.The Dan Dan noodles was just ok, a after burn on spice on the back of your tongue followed. Everythingelse that was ordered was very salty especially the eggplant. One extra star for the decor.
Food is decent but quantity is a it small. Atmosphere is great but overall it’s a bit overpriced compared to other Asian restaurants I’ve tried in the town.
The environment and service is good. The food is not super spicy(we asked them to put less chilli) and tasty. I can recommend here. My favourite dish is the steamed eggplant with salty egg york and minced pork. The portion of food here is relatively big
I think dining in would be a little better than carrying out. But it was still delicious. Really enjoyed the eggplant
Authentic food, great atmosphere. I would rank this place second to the Hunan restaurant in Cleveland circle but it has some star dishes. The salted egg eggplant and dry ribs were excellent. Pickled beans with chicken gizzard is my favorite. Minor complaint is that food was not spicy enough for me (but will be plenty for non Hunan folks)
We walked in here on an impulse and I am so happy we did!Great food, cozy old style atmosphere, and friendly and attentive service. I can only say good things about this restaurant.
