Everything had been and continues to be terrific. Just as a heads up, though, if you go on a percolator busy night (like any weekend really), try to order with your server, or ask your server to confirm your order got into the computer. All staff will look out for you and are great, but twice in the last month I've ordered with someone other than my main person and had the order forgotten. But again, this has only happened when the place is absolutely packed.
A really solid all-around tavern. The beer selection is varied and offers both generic beers and more niche brews, satisfying everyone. The atmosphere is a nice hipster spin on the cozy tavern - lots of wood accenting, very nice. The staff were attentive and very enthusiastic about the menu, which was great to see. Will go back!
Great food and atmosphere. Bartender delivered great service. Took my 3 kids while visiting the area, and they treated us well. Looks like a great date place as well. Ample outdoor seating. Will recommend and return next time in the area
Another great google maps find. I started off with deviled eggs and chicken egg roll. My wife had the vegetarian gnocchi and fresh brewed ice tea. I had the the Cuban with fries. The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was delightful.
A great local restaurant & bar with Irish flare (excellent seasonal specials), a mindful selection of beers & other drinks, and doesn't break the bank. A good place to go for a casual date, with friends, or for late night grub/a drink. They also have some outdoor seating with heat lamps.
Eat and drink some tasty treats and beers. Bison pasta on point. Fries are excellent along with tasty burgers and chicken. Good vibe here as well, service is solid.
Food was great, service was subpar. Waiter accidentally spilled cheese sauce, which happened to get everywhere. He cleaned a little bit but it spilled all over my wifes jacket and seat, and even on to the wall. Not sure if he realized the mess that was made, but he threw her a rag to clean the rest up. No acknowledgement of the situation after the fact. She was disappointed that she had to clean up the mess our waiter made.
This is a fantastic little bar and restaurant in Brookline. It’s friendly, well run and the food and drinks are all excellent. Outside or in server pay good attention and are happy to help at all times. I’ve been there many times and I’ll be back many more
the Staff and Food at the abbey is amazing. The Bison Bolognese and their pizza of the day are terrific...
Food was good. Thought the burgers were a bit over priced for the size. Service was ok. Place is small and quaint.
