Definitely one of our go-to place for dinner. Freshly made, authentic Uyghur cuisine. We love starting off with been jelly. Oh and lagman+ kebab is our favorite. Good portion and friendly staff. Also, great place if you love halal central Asian food.
Awful place. Server was not interested in his job at all. The restaurant had no bathroom. We had to wash our hands in the kitchen. Some food was extremely cold and some was extremely hot. Everything tasted the same and was super oily. Also we tipped 18% of the total even though the service was absolutely horrible. Yet, the restaurant lied that we tipped 1$. Don’t know if they’re confusing us with another group or trying to discredit the bad review. Absolutely awful experience.
We went their yesterday with friends to break our fast. Unfortunately, they don't serve complementary dates, so only water guys. Most of the dishes they have on the menu are not served on beacon str location. The waiter kept saying that they have it in Cambridge. Plastic plates and utensils were of very low quality.Generally, the food was good and delicious, except the naan (just simple bread basically) served for 5.75 $, which is way too overpriced. The food was served fast, however, at the end the waiter crossed all boundaries by being too rude and even harassing regarding the tips.
10/10. My brothers and I ordered about 6 dishes and 2 sides. Every meal we had was full of flavor, portioned generously, and tasted home made. Unfortunately I don’t know the names of the food, but the spicy red chili noodles with beef and the wide noodles with lamb were by far my favorite dishes. If I could describe the food it would be like Asian meets Arabic. For anyone who hasn’t been here, please do yourself a favor and visit!
Great food I definitely recommend this place.
$14 for 3 tiny skewers with small pieces of lamb meat? Are you guys a Michelin restaurant? $6 for small piece of stale naan that was warmed up probably in a microwave? This restaurant should be a joke
This was such a great halal food restaurant with quick service and some great food. We ordered the stir fried chicken with rice noodles, naan, beef pilaf, and laghman. Ughyur pilaf with beef (basically rice with beef and carrots) was so flavorful and the spices were delicious. It seems like such a simple dish, but when you taste the rice its just a rollercoaster of flavors; i would highly recommend trying it. Rice noodles were cooked well and had that chewiness that I like and the stir fried chicken was amazing; it was slightly spicy but not that I couldn’t handle it. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were huge. Overall, everything was great and I totally loved it!
I have been a fan of their Lamb meals since they were in 88 food court. After they closed that location I was wondering where they been. Glad the Brookline location is closer.
Spectacular food and a wonderful server/waitress who was willing to talk about the Uyghur oppression and her own family. Food was light and healthy, unique (but not too unique) and absolutely perfect! We’d come weekly!!
My friend and I stopped by this restaurant to enjoy some appetizers. The food was delicious, arrived on time, and the staff were beyond kind, thoughtful, and professional. We ordered the samosa, homemade yogurt, cold fungus, and bean jelly. I had a top-notch experience and love that I can support a family owned restaurant centered on Uyghur cuisine. Will definitely be their regular customer!
