Food is mediocre and ridiculously overpriced. Kids pasta for $14 was a single bowl with elbow macaroni and smashed tomatoes on it. No bread, no other choice of pasta shape, no Parmesan, nothing. The wrong beers were given to the wrong people but we only realized after drinking out of it. Staff’s inattentiveness was exceeded only by their cluelessness. I had to call them over EVERY time I needed to order, get a refill, ask for the menu, ask for the bill, pay the bill. Not once did the waitstaff ask how the meal was or if I needed anything. They never came to get the card after finally dropping the bill and we just charged it to the room sans tip. Don’t waste your money here unless you’re a tourist on a company card that can’t be bothered to walk around the corner to a real restaurant in Brookline village.
Low rating for extremely poor service. We had some requests and changes to our reservation, called over a handful of times, not once did we get a live person. Left messages, never returned our call to acknowledge or confirm. We still decided to move forward. Saturday brunch for 9 people, food was decent. Waiter was extremely slow and not attentive. We had to ask to order, for drink refills, missed items and to order dessert. We cancelled the dessert order after waiting 25 minutes. Did not clear finished meals/dishes until we started leave. Brunch took 1hr 45 mins. Restaurant was only 30-40% full. Will not return.
Pricey . Breakfast was good...Dinner was mediocre..$40 to park your car overnight even if you are staying at the hotel. The Room was clean.
I ate here with some relatives that were staying in the hotel this concession is in. The breakfast offered was very satisfying; two eggs, bacon, homefries with wholegrain buttered toast. Everyone ordered something different from the menu and all seemed happy with their selections, the coffee was fresh ,flavorful and plentiful. The waiters and staff courteous and friendly, Covid protocols were observed and tactfully enforced. For a hotel restaurant it was more than adequate it was actually good.
I have enjoyed lunch and dinner at Punch Bowl. The yellow tail wraps are excellent. The breakfast bagel with gravlox is large enough to share. Beautiful restaurant with great service.
Fantastic for date night, a business dinner, and we brought a big family party for the night before Thanksgiving. Why yes, we will have a second round of oysters, thank you! Loved their holiday cookie decorating and hot chocolate event for Village Lights. Punch Bowl is fast becoming a mainstay here in Brookline Village with top notch food, excellent service, and a brilliant cocktail and wine list. Can't wait to come for brunch!
The service was excellent. We shared the Rhode island style calamari, the tuna roll ups and the black bass they were all prepared perfectly. For desert, we shared the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.

The cocktails are overpriced and its missing it’s key ingredients? no mixed drinks for sureThankfully the calamari and the wraps were were fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a try! Will go back. The staff were by nice but service is slow.
Very pleasantly surprised... Sat at the bar... Good attentive service and good food. I had oysters for an appetizer and the strip steak with french fries and also had the fresh made potato chips - - all delicious. CHEERS to the bartender for the good pours.Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
