Trying new restaurants is a good thing. I tried Ivory Pearl for the first time. It's right across the street, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Coming to the actual place, the person at the front desk was super friendly and helped me along with my order. The ambiance was terrific, and they offered me a seat and a glass of water while I waited for my order. The chicken burger I ordered was honestly the most fantastic chicken burger I've ever had, and the fries were superb. Even though they're primarily a seafood restaurant (which I don't have a taste for), I didn't expect that their other menu items would be so exceptional. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Coming from France it was my first dinner at Ivory Pearl Great Delicious Extraordinary What a fantastic evening there ! And a special MERCI to Jared Conklin Christel

I endured a dinner tonight in which I was so cold I could barely type this. Both myself and those at the table next to me asked for the heat to be turned on or up to a temperature comfortable for dining indoors. To managers: Please consider investing in making the building a habitable temperature.I live next door but won’t return this winter when other nearby places are exceedingly more pleasant for dining. The food is good here. I love their burgers and oysters. But the temperature is unacceptable.

Fantastic spot next to Barcelona. Easy to be missed. Stylish interior. Great menu and bar. Good for smaller groups, date night or to have a good one on one conversation over good food and drinks. Menu is catered to the fish lover but there are some great non fish options. Highly recommend to give it a try.

Seriously delicious and inventive seafood you really won’t find elsewhere in Boston/Brookline. This hidden gem is worth the trek! The reviews of people saying “too little food for the price” must be used to eating at cheese cake factory because we left completely full and satisfied as we shared dishes between 3 people. However, this wasn’t our first time at a non-chain restaurant, and we knew to ask our server how many dishes she recommended we order under small/large for the amount of people and our hunger level. The standout item was the taiyaki and the steak tartare seriously order double ?The tentacle hot dog was terrifying but weirdly delicious all the flavors worked well together and the octopus was tender. My only wish was that the tots and caviar were a little more savory - the potato mix needed something (seasoning/cheese ?)Our server was also super friendly and helpful with all our menu questions.

One of our favourite restaurants. Exceptionally food that does not take itself too seriously - nothing stuffy just great ingredients expertly prepared often in unique or playful ways. You may be enjoying something delicious that is “elevated” but at the same time reminds you of a nostalgic dish from childhood. The drinks are all fabulous- okay I have not had them all yet but I’m working on it and because the menu is always changing its a never ending goal.

Another home run from Ran Duan! Delicious food, creative cocktails and a hip atmosphere. Excellent service and an imaginative spin on New England seafood. Try the holiday lunch, Feast of the Seven Fishes. A la carte or the whole shebang, you won’t regret any of it!

Extraordinary food that would be difficult to make at home!

The food in this small Brookline spot is creative and delicious. Unique spin on seafood — octopus ‘hot dog’, fish collar with Asian buns, and chowder were highlights. Even the Brussels sprouts are delicious. Highly recommend.

There are some interesting fusion and designs of dishes. I tried the tentacle hotdog, I.P burger, and tots & caviar. The portion was okay, and how everything was designed tasted unique, and the atmosphere was very nice and romantic. It’s a cozy space.
