Great bar foods. - planning on being outside but inside is just wonderful
After a long walk around Boston University and the Charles River, we went for an early supper. We both ordered the Beacon Burger. Very delicious and not over portioned. You can sit outside, or in the bar or at a restaurant section inside. Interesting customers and good service
We are on the back patio and as soon as it started to get dark a rat appeared on the parameter of the space.
Food is below average American food with not much flavor and big portions. The only big plus is the location with the spacious patio in the back and the nice service.
Maybe I was there at a loud time. Bartender was great, singing soccer club in the back was awful ?! Had to leave bar area to be able to converse with friend. Had to do outside seating and you could still hear the off key singers!
Been here many times for the Monday trivia, last night will be my last. There was a belligerently drunk group of college people interrupting the guy running trivia, cussing at him, flipping him off, etc. The trivia guy asked them to stop, asked the manager/owner to do something.Manager only gave them "hey yall, lets all have fun and calm down". They didn't it, it got worse, nothing done except another warning which did nothing again.It got so bad trivia had to be stopped mid way through for the drunk crowd. Manager didn't apologize to anyone, didn't kick out the drunks. No respect for the customers here.Not coming back anymore and will actively find somewhere else to go.
This is a very good choice of restaurant and bar! The people here are so friendly and always have a smile on their face. They bring the food fast and the food is great, I recommend the crunchy kale salad it’s a good mix of ingredients. Back patio is very nice, you almost feel like you’re in a different place! Great spot for food and drinks! Greg the owner and his Irish cree are the best. Great service as well even late at night
We visited Brookline for the USOpen and this was our go to dinner place. Locals frequent, inviting atmosphere. Met the owner. All the items we tried were good and especially the Caesar salad. At Coolidge Corner train stop.
Service was slow and inattentive; surrounding tables allowed their young children to run around and scream throughout the entire meal. Food and drink were good.
