Great when they can fulfill the order but often end up with being told they can’t make takoyaki because the machine’s broken. Or can’t make the okonomiyaki because they run out of a certain ingredients, maybe better management is needed.
Limited selections of authentic Japanese street food located inside the Arcade building.Recently visited to try their okonomiyaki, but it seemed like their menus have changed. I ended up getting the traditional chicken karaage and gyoza, and both were very good. Karaage was extremely tender and they were certainly the best pieces I had in Boston.Unfortunately, this place seemed to be overshadowed by the popularity of the ramen place right across, but they are definitely worth a visit.

Their gyoza are delicious, but their kara-age is out of this world!!! I have a hard time resisting the urge - no… the NEED to stop in and get some to go every time I’m in Coolidge. It’s crazy good, and their sister restaurant Ganko Ittetsu makes this the best stop for casual Japanese eats in the city.
Fantastic ramen here and at their Providence location. Highly recommend!
This place has really gone downhill sconce the last time I have been here. The broth now tastes off and the noodles were undercooked, furthermore, when we were ordering the people were being rude.
The ramen was delicious and the staff was very friendly
We have been eating their delicius soup since they opened. The quality of the soup is still excellent for take-out. However the gyoza were inedible. Someone put too much soy sauce or salt in the mixture.
I love the fact that you can get a decent amount of takoyaki for a decent price! Also, just across from the shop, you can dine in for ramen. No way you can lose here. Although, the okonomiyaki wasn’t as exciting.
The best Takoyaki!Update: Take out only now. Was not prepared for this. Last time ( during COVID) they let us sit and eat at their other restaurant 6 steps away. The relationship is no longer cooperative ( guessing) because even though there were tables available and we would of bought drinks they would would not let us sit there. Takoyaki is not a good take out food. Gets mushy and cold quickly.
