Sushi was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was very kind and attentive. Overall a lovely experience. I would go back and will recommend to friends and family.
This was our first time visiting this place. The reason I booked it was it's unique Japanese style. The hostess when we walked in had this "what do you want" look on her face. When I told her we had reservations her attitude changed. Guess walk-ins might not be welcomed. She walked us to our table/booth and we were very excited again for the unique style and truly thought this would be a unique and amazing experience....but unfortunately it wasn't. Our waiter was very nice, attentive, and pleasant. The food (aside from the sushi) had no flavor. The appetizers and Teriyaki meals were poorly seasoned and didn't have a very appetizing look. We ate them cause we were had already ordered them, we're going to get charged and we're hungry. The service & sushi were excellent. But based on the hostess and the rest of the food ($130's worth) were very disappointing. Overall, we tried it but unfortunately don't think we'll be back.
They were their usual obstructive management as regards table selection. And never gracious. Try visiting Japan for some lessons in etiquette
Good food selection. Good service
It was on of the best dining experiences in recent past.
We always loved going to Fugakyu on the weekends and getting their lunch specials, including the deluxe Fugakyu lunch bento. They were pricey for bentos but we enjoyed the experience and splurge. However, on this trip, we discovered that the lunch bentos were no longer available so we ended up getting 2 rolls, appetizer, and a dinner entree (as there are no lunch entrees). Total cost about $90 and they charged $3 more for the chicken karaage than the price listed on the menu. We didnât bother to argue as it will be our last meal there for a while. Lunch specials are only available on weekdays now and weâre working then. Itâs the rare weekend that we feel like spending that much on lunch.
Great service , very good food, if in the area will definitely go again
Just not the same that it used to be. Got seated in a tight corner for a bday celebration. Disappointing service.
We were very disappointed to find out that they got rid of the kidsâ menu and their Japanese soda. So theyâre basically forcing you to order a regular entree for the kids who can only finish half of it if youâre lucky.
Excellent service food and ambiance. Helpful with dinner choices and food descriptions
